Interviewed Nov 2011 in Houston, TX (took 2 days)
First, I was interviewed at my university by 3 people. They explained the job description and allowed me to ask questions as well. The night before the second interview we were taken to a fancy dinner with some employees. On the day of the interview, we were given breakfast and during it we talked about benefits and typical compensation packages (which are top notch, by the way). The second interview consisted of 2 interviews with 2 managers at the company, in a very similar manner as the first interview. After that, we had a very relaxed lunch with our interviewees and some other employees.

The interview started at 8 am and finished at 11am. I cant recall the exact time. There were around 25 candidates on the day. Then we were split into groups of 5~ 6 members. the whole assessment consisted of 3 activities. The first one was short presentation in pairs. We were given a scenario which was about FIFO topic. We had 10 mins for preparation then followed by 5 mins presentation. After this, the second activity was group discussion which was typical assessment for graduate program. When you arrive, they register you on their system and take a photo of you.
The same person then takes you to the interview room and asked some general questions – when will you graduate, what was your favourite subject and how will you deal with being away on site.
Then there's 3-4 STAR type questions.
1. Something to do with working in a group, when have you encountered a difficult person?
2. Group related again, name a time when something went wrong/changed while working in a team
3. Can't remember the third
4. Name a time you made a difference to a safety related issue.
