first they contact you via phone and ask you if you are still interested iun the position then they schedules an interview after going through your cv with you on the phone to make sure they have the right person then once you meet with the first interviewer they ask you to wait and then reschedule another interview with your potential future manager who then grills you and then decides to eith offer you a contract or to not hire you

    The process took a dayinterviewed at BMO Financial Group in February 2012.

    Interview Details

    Submitted Resume and Cover Letter through a school career portal. Received an email requesting a phone interview. It was from an external HR company on behalf of BMO. Conducted 30 minute phone interview, consisting of standard behavorial questions. Told that I would receive an email regarding the second round of interviews with a senior manager, but the email never came.

    Four rounds of interviews with various managers. Pretty standard behavioural questions. not particularly difficult.

    I negotiated a slight increase in salary and signing bonus although I still felt I was underpaid. It was a difficult time in the banking industry so they defineatly had the leverage.
