Interviewed Oct 2010 (took a day)
I applied online and was contacted by an external HR company, Hewitt Associates for a phone interview about a week later. I searched up questions before hand, and found some difficult ones that people mentioned they would ask. They asked to set up a phone interview in the next couple of days. The interview lasted about 30 minutes. The interviewer was really friendly, but make sure you have your resume, strengths/weaknesses, experiences written in front of you when answering the questions, it really helps since they do ask quite a bit of questions.

Interviewed Jan 2010 (took 2 days)
It was 2 months before there was a email from the staffing agency sending the detial job description and asking confirmation for telephone interview. There was 45 minute telephone interview going over the education & professional experience background. Included questions based on the job description, was asked to provide details of practical experience which was related to the Job requirements.
This interview went on fine for me then there was a panel interview with the department head and one more technical person at their office. The questions were very technical , focusing on the job requirements, if you are applying for senior technical position than they expect you to have very good handson knowledge on the technology. The setup is pretty big 100 + servers with 100+ applications.

Interviewed Apr 2010 (took 2 weeks)
Work Culture - People like to pass on blame. The T&O department is laid back and not as fast as other banks in Toronto or the USA.
Interview was a 1 hr discussion of my strengths, weakness and 1 case question about how will you assess the cost of a new product development for the bank.

Interviewed Jun 2010 in Toronto, ON (Canada) (took 4+ weeks)
I was interviewed by the hiring manager, who would be the direct manager if I get the offer. He has been managing the department for 3 years but doesn't know a bit about the technology. As I can imagine the interview was not relavent to any technological details and the converstation was pleasant. A couple of days later, I got a call from him and was asked to come for second interview with the director, who was new to the position and basically focused on behaviour questions. But after that, the manager was gone for vacation for a few weeks. When I followed up with the director, she kept saying that the decision had to be made after the manager returned. When he's back, he ignored my following-up and a couple of weeks later, I got told someone else got the offer.

Interviewed Dec 2009 (took a day)
I went out of my way to go to this interview, took time off work, paid for parking, and wasn't even given a callback to say I didnt get the job. I assumed this from the no call. I was told by the individual interviewing me that she would be on holidays for a week and she would call me back then. WASTE OF TIME!!
