Interviewed Nov 2011 in Mississauga, ON (Canada) (took 2 days)
After the application of the position, HR will give you a call asking a few questions on whether you are available to the rotation shifts, then an email will be sent to you stating the package and work location. Afterwards, HR will arrange an online simulation test for you to finish within 24 hours and a phone interview will be arranged at the same time.
For the simulation test, it is rather easy. It consisted of 3 parts:
There are 3 main parts to the assessment:
1. Interactive portion (i.e. you'll be asked to act like an Agent and you have to choose the best response given the situation.
2. Personality Assessment
3. Math and Verbal Assessment (make sure to have a calculator close by)
For phone interview, it is asked about your past experience, and any suitation encountered, but you have to answer it in a manner of saying situation, action you taken, and outcome. The whole process takes around 30-45 mins.

Interviewed Aug 2011 in Toronto, ON (Canada) (took a day)
I applied on-line for a Costumer Service Representative position and received a phone call a couple of days later to set up a time for a formal phone interview. The lady told me that It will be a "behavoral interview" so I googled the term just to be prepared. The interview consisted basically in about 6 questions regarding situations with clients and general job situations, I had to provide examples and explain how I managed each case. The intervier was very professional and friendly.

Interviewed Jul 2011 in Toronto, ON (Canada) (took a day)
I had applied online and was contacted by a representative from aon hewitt. He set up a phone interview with me. I had that interview over the phone the very next day. My advice is to really know your resume well, to know your experiences and to be ready with a lot of examples.

The interviewers less educated/experienced. Did not know what they were even asking !! I bet they are just getting paid for showing off at work everyday.
I've got very disappointed with their attitides, big copmpanies like BMO should not allow just any one to take interview.

Interviewed Mar 2009 in Toronto, ON (Canada) (took 4+ weeks)
I applied online. The HR hiring part is outsourced to a company called Hewitt. Pre-screening was done by Hewitt. They just evaluated the experience and skills. Then they scheduled a face to face interview with the hiring manager and another manager within the group. This was mainly Behavioural & soft skills interview. Then 2 weeks later, called for the technical interview. Finally another interview for HR/Salary negotiation

Negotiation Details
I was able to negotiate salary. Advise to others. Negotiate for the salary you need for the next 5 years. Once you are in, the chances of getting a raise is very difficult.
