agents arranged phone interview and it went smoothly, they just asked me some what projects I have worked and high level technical questions. then I was invited to an onsite interview. I met two developers and the hiring manager. The interview is not difficult and hiring manager is nice. I then received an offer letter.

    I got the interview call through a Recruiter. I first had a phone interview and then I was invited onsite where I met 4 people, 3 technical and 1 pseudo-technical/HR. The whole process lasted for 4 hours and had questions on C++, multithreading, projects on my resume and questions about basic finance and low latency.

    I applied through a staffing agency. The process took 4 weeksinterviewed at BNP Paribas (Chennai (India)) in May 2015.

    Interview

    Applied through staffing agency. First round was face to face discussion. Questions were simple. The interviewer concentrated basically around Java Collections Framework. There was one programming problem where the Interviewer asked me to sort a List of Employee class based on experience and if the experience is same, use Name as the sorting criteria. This process took about 45 minutes and I was told that I would be contacted if I had cleared this round. I got a call from the staffing agency for the 2nd round of telephonic discussion. This was an extensive round and took about 1.5 hrs. Questions were asked from Core Java (very detailed), Java Swing, Current application I was working on etc. I got selected for this round and was called for the 3rd round which was manager's round. Questions were mostly related to my studies, current project. He then said that there would be one final round on the same day and the Interview panel was located in France. This was a technical discussion where the questions were asked from Core Java, Database, Spring, Swing and JPA. Finally I was called for HR round after a couple of days.

    I got a call from an staffing agency. Had a written technical cum objective first round (easy just need to be clear with basic java concepts). Second was a face to face technical round. next was managerial round which was a real bad experience. Bad manager who was behaving rudely.

    Process started with a call from some staffing consultancy they scheduled a telephonic interview, I was asked a few very basic questions about java ,javascript ,database .They were very much interested in my nature of work at current position was asked to expound on how my average day at workplace goes. I was called for face 2 face in their goregaon office. gave a technical round then one programming test asked me to implement caching. Then they took me on 4th floor for paris round a guy from paris on phone took technical interview not too tough though more like asking about my skill set. Then had a discussion, sort of managerial round with the head of GECD department and then hr round. I was told i was hired in hr discussion and salary would be as per my expectation they even didnt tried to negotiate to a package which was 100 % hike from my previous salary (It was a reputable CMMI 5 service company)was on top of the world.

    I applied online. The process took 1 dayinterviewed at BNP Paribas (Mumbai (India)).

    Interview

    They have 3 rounds. 1st is technical programming test. 2nd is technical interview. 3rd is HR round. If you have done programming in .NET and worked in a place where people follow SDLC it will be very easy to solve the problem they ask you to code. 2nd interview was a mix of behavioral questions and technical questions. I liked what they asked because it was based more on understanding of the technology rather than textbook questions. Seemed to be a good place with good people to work with if they would have given me a competitive offer. 3rd interview was HR round where some HR will ask u jsut the usual questions every HR will ask you.

    Reasons for Declining

    Offer was way below a competitive offer that a company of their stature would give their candidate. Was really surprised and disgusted at the low-ball offer given and there was no negotiation on it.
