I applied through college or university. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at bp (Houston, TX) in Nov 2009
Interview
Great 1 on 1 interview with HR professional
This was followed by a technical test, the engineer providing the technical test was extremely condescending, and not at all helpful. I think BP would be a great company to work for, great training program for graduates, but there are definitely a few people who are not representing the team well.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
Technical Engineering question based on petroleum engineering
Three step process with the first being a technical interview, then a competency based interview and a final interview with the head of the department who was hiring for the role
Interview questions [1]

The competency based interview was all about scenarios that relate to BP's core values
1e ronde technisch interview met een case 2e ronde meer persoons gericht interview Beide wel goed en beide ook anderendaags hdhdbfbf een twee drie vier vijf zes zeven acht negen tien
I applied online. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at bp in Jan 2021
Interview
SJT Test, Numerical/ Verbal, On Demand Interview,
The online assessments were of the standard format, but very time pressured.
On Demand interview was conducted by HireVue and would recommnend to read and understand the BP values. Also consider the challenges of the Oil & Gas sector as a whole and what BP does differently. The balance sheet should be inspected and appreciation that Deepwater horizon is still a detriment to balance sheet health.
