Interviewed Jan 2012 in Anchorage, AK (took a day)
I was referred by an employee and sent in my resume for review. Then I met with several company representatives for lunch to discuss the position. This was not what I would call a formal interview. The position was offered to me at that time and the details of a contract position were worked out over the following weeks.

Compare third party contract companies for benefits plans and 401K options. You DO have power to negotiate, especially if you have been preselected for a job.

I got the interview through an Employee Referral and the interview consisted of a Group/Panel Interview.
