Very long-winded, took 3 months from beginning to end.
Had initial telephone interview, followed up by a 1.5 hour 1:1 with the hiring manager and another manager, also consisted of a skills test with a few problem solving type scenarios.
2nd interview 9 days later was with two more senior stakeholders and consisted of a 2 hour grilling over my past experiences and CV details. Also had the usual HR related questions to answer. The interviews were quite stress-full and not easy to get through, I think part of the process was to evaluate me under pressure.

Negotiation Details
None. I was offered the top salary in the banding with no further room for manoeuvre. The contract mentions a discretionary bonus, but this has never been paid. You get the usual Sky perks, TV etc as standard - 25 paid days holiday, rising to a max of 30 over the first 5 years.

I got the interview through a Recruiter and the interview consisted of a Phone Interview, a 1:1 Interview, a Group/Panel Interview, a Skills Test and a Background Check.

Applied online on BSkyB website. Then waited for 6 months to get a phone call from BskyB HR to tell me that they would like to do an telephone interview. Then i had telephone interview, the telephone interview was CV based, the interviewer was ill prepared and sounded like nervous and under stress. The interview lasted for 10 minutes. Then i had to wait another 3 months to know the result of the interview. The job is still open. I think the whole HR department survives because they don't select anybody and keep the the same job open for more than a year. The whole application process and interview was pathetic, sad, and time wasting. The HR people in BskyB lacks professionalism, intergrity, honesty, and respect for their prospective employee.
