Interview Details – Recruiters came to my school. I've been talking to them for awhile and they told me I would get an interview last semester, but they never called. Went to see them again and offered me interview immediately by phone (most are done in person).I Did it, It was simple behavioral, but they basically asked the same question 4 times in a row. It was always something about "name a time when you solved a technical problem" and then one time they asked about with a team. This was difficult because going into an interview you need to have more than a few examples prepared, and I was only really prepared for them to ask 2 questions like that. However I did well and was notified the same day I was being considered for 2nd round (do not know if this is typical, don't get worried if they take awhile). I was eventually invited to do the 2nd round video interview about 3 weeks after my initial interview date
First thing intern applicants need to know about the second round: The baker Hughes experience is CANCELLED for interns, so stop worrying about having to do it. There is a new process now, which consisted of an online pre-recorded interview. Basically, the recruiter who came to my college pre recorded 10 questions. you answer them (do a good job the first time, there is no retry. PAY ATTENTION TO THE QUESTION WRITTEN ON THE BOTTOM OF THE SCREEN).
NOTHING WAS TECHNICAL . NOTHING!!!! Also no stupid brain teasers. yay :D
Interview Question – first round: name a time when you solved a technical problem under xxx conditions (where xxx would be like "teamates sucked" or "strict deadline").

Interview Details – The interview was pretty straight forward. It consisted of a couple behavioral questions. My interviewer read them straight from a sheet of paper and took notes of all of my answers.

Interview Details – On campus interview's were held during the career fair. Interview were personally based type. Mostly asked questions like "Tell us about a situation when a conflict occurred. How did you confront, approached the issue or resolved it?"

Interview Details – It was really casual, and since it was with an HR rep, they just asked behavorial questions - "When have made a mistake and how did you correct it?", "Give an instance where you applied your technical knowledge to somewhere outside the classroom.", "Give an instance where you have had to use your technical knowledge to solve a problem.", "When have you dealt with a bad group member and how did you deal with him/her?"...stuff like that. Nothing too fancy. I will be moving onto the second phase of interviews where they fly you out to Houston and probably will ask more technical questions related to my field.

Very Difficult Interview

Interview Details – On campus interview was purely behavioral. In and out in around fifteen minutes. Wasn't sure if I would hear back from them since it seemed too short to be conclusive.
A few weeks later I received an email invitation to the Baker Hughes Experience.
It's a really bad experience. They make you drive to a hotel around IAH and spend the night. Then they make you meet around 6 AM to start presentations. These presentations were really boring since all twenty of the presentations (who I am, why Baker, etc.) were essentially the same. This continued until around noon (I stopped trying to make sense of the time), and then we did a case study. The case study was all right, but they asked a lot about electronic instrumentation, which seemed to be over most people's heads.
Then they make you wait an hour while they decide and then call the people who didn't get an offer in the room first and let them leave before calling in the people who did get an offer. As you can imagine, it is very awkward.
Just kind of seems like overkill for an internship.
