Bandwidth.com Social Marketing Manager Interview

No Offer – Interviewed in Cary, NC Oct 2009 – Reviewed Mar 16, 2010

Interview Details – Was contacted by an HR representative who scheduled an initial phone screening. The call was pleasant, basic. At the end, she asked for my salary requirements, but thankfully, she gave me their range ($40,000 to 70,000), beforehand. After that, I was contacted by the director of the department -- this is the person who would be making the hiring decision. We had a phone interview. The call went well. Typical questions -- current job responsibilities, industry knowledge, strengths, etc. That call then ended with him saying that I would hear back from them the following week and that they would be bringing people into the office for in-person interviews. It sounded optimistic, but I was never contacted again nor was I ever notified that they went "in a different direction."
With regard to my impression of the office culture -- it seemed to have a young, 30-something vibe. Creative and slightly laid back.

Interview Question – At the very end of the interview, something along the lines of: What would you say is your strongest professional attribute?   View Answer

Other Details - I applied online and the process took 3 weeks.
