Interviewed Sep 2010 in Pennington, NJ (took a day)
I spoke with a recruiting agent, and he was able to secure me a telephone interview with an insurance company. I had to submit an application on the internet, and then after reviewing my application and resume, they contacted me through email for a phone interview. A date and time was set, and the interview took place. It was a pretty straight forward interview.

Interviewed May 2010 (took 1 week)
They asked basic questions about why I was interested in banking. They didn't ask specific things about finance or banking. I didn't need to know any formulas or anything like that. They pretty much wanted to see if I could convince them with my story as I walked them through my resume.

Interviewed Jan 2010 in New York, NY (took 2 days)
Basically had to interview with about 12 people over two days and a total of seven hours. The company never got back to me with a decision either way (accept or decline) . It's frustrating when you spend so much time on the company and they are not courteou enough to respond.

Interviewed Dec 2009 in Calabasas, CA (took 1 week)
Was interviewed first by HR and then had a phone interview with the hiring team manager.
I have mainly technical background and hence all the examples that I gave for the Behavioral type questions were based on that. Guess that's what i did wrong. I think they wanted examples based on business side of my experience.
did not get the offer.

Interviewed Jan 2008 (took 5 months)
Very long drawn out process, over many months. Had to eventually interview with everyone on the team. Had technical as well as fit interviews. It was the not team or dept I had even applied to. Work culture was abominable toward analysts; but that was just my team, and NOT the company.
