Interviewed Mar 2012 in New York, NY (took 4+ weeks)
I was contacted by email stating that I made it to the next step of the hiring process. The next step was an assessment part which took about an hour asking me personality questions. After about a week I received another email from a recruiter explaining I made it to the next round and needed to take a coaching simulation . After passing the coaching simulation which are video senerios where you coach your employees in different situations. I did a phone interview with the recruiter who asks you about your background and asks you situational questions. After completing that I had a 1:1 with my branch manager.

Interviewed Feb 2012 in Prince, NY (took a day)
I applied the job on our school career website and they contact me for an on campus interview. I met with two recruitors each by half an hour. One recruitor is from U.S Trust and another is from Merril Lynch. U.S trust deals with bigger clients with more than 1 million investable assets and Merril services smaller clients with $100,000 investable fund. It only takes 1 interview for them to finalize their decision and they only hire three for their office during the summer.

Interviewed Sep 2009 in Jersey City, NJ (took 4+ weeks)
Several interviews. You apply online then you immediately take a behavioral assesment. If you pass, a recruiter contacts you within two weeks and requests a phone interview. The next step is the group interview. Smiling and confidence is extremely important. They will often ask you to role play as a teller while they act as a difficult customer. You will either have to diffuse the customer or sell them a product. From here you will be taken to an interview with district management and if they like you, you will then be sent on an interview to the branch and subsequently interviewed by the branch manager and their second in command. Pass and you will be fingerprinted and have a background check run before being given an offer.

Interviewed Sep 2010 in New York, NY (took 1 week)
Initial Interview with a recruiter at B school, offer to fly to Charlotte and stay at the Ritz for the second round of interviews.
Second round consisted of 3 Behavioral interviews, each about 30 minutes. Everyone at Bank of America involved with recruiting and hiring was very nice and welcoming to all the candidates. Nothing too aggressive and no gotcha questions.
