I applied online and the process took 4 days - interviewed at Bank of America in November 2013.

Interview Details – Based on a recommendation I applied for a banker role internally and took the online test. I interviewed the next day with the branch manager. Questions were pretty typical, most were about my sales history and process, and how I turn servicing to sales. Of course strengths and weaknesses, one of my most difficult situations, and one of my most successful interactions. I was an internal candidate, so my reputation and history were already known, I felt like it was more of a test of personality. The next day I had a phone interview with the CMM, where I was also asked the same general questions, but once again I really felt like I was being screened for personality since I already had a (hopefully good) reputation.

Interview Question – What is your approach when somebody just tells you "no"?   View Answer

Negotiation Details – No negotiation, there's not much room for that, but I've found nearly everyone is always satisfied with their initial offers.

I applied through an employee referral and the process took 4+ weeks - interviewed at Bank of America in October 2012.

Interview Details – Initial approach was to apply online and take a 150 question test to see if you are the right fit for the company. After passing, I was contacted via email to schedule a phone interview which I passed and then had to schedule another interview with the manager of the office. After I passed, I had yet another interview with senior leadership to see if I was qualified. Then you wait 2 weeks without a call from HR and I left several messages to no avail. I decided not to pursue employment with this company. Its great they want only perfect people to work for them, I don't belong in the Stepford community

Interview Question – You have to role play during the interview. I was the customer service person, and the manager was the customer complaining about fees. They were testing to see if I would get angry at the customer and how would I turn the problem into a sale.   View Answer

Reason for Declining – My friends won't do business with them and gave me a hard time for applying.

I applied online and the process took 1+ week - interviewed at Bank of America in October 2013.

Interview Details – This reviews helped me a lot so I'm planning to return the favor to everyone. I applied online and a few days later, a recruiter called me and scheduled me for a phone interview. The phone interview lasted about 30 - 45 minutes and tackled about your background and your work experience. So I was accepted and move to the next process which was a 1 on 1 interview with the banking center manager. Questions where asked regarding my sales background and how i handled different kinds of customers in different kinds of situations. It was not that hard as I expected, they want to know you more by your experience so give a brief specific example on how you handled things on your end. Few hours after my personal interview, I was called and scheduled to my final interview with the Marketing manager and District manager ( not really sure ). My final interview was via phone conference where 2 managers where interviewing me. It was kind of the same with the 1 on 1 interview with the banking manager. A day after that, I was called and was given an offer.

Tips for the interview: Preparation is always the best strategy. Anticipate all kinds of questions like "tell me a time when". Practice your answer and say it out loud. It will prepare you for the real one. ANd also, do your research.

Interview Question – All questions where sales experience related. Customer service.   Answer Question

Negotiation Details – They gave me an offer and I negotiated it a little higher and they called me back and gave the exact offer I wanted

I applied online and the process took 3 weeks - interviewed at Bank of America in October 2013.

Interview Details – I applied for personal banker position online, a staffing person contacted me a week later, scheduled me a phone interview which was next day afternoon. I had a 25 mins phone interview with a recruiter, three behavior-based interview questions were asked. Questions were not difficult, mainly based on my previous customer services and sales experience. Then, the recruiter said she would schedule a face to face interview with hiring manager and would give me a feedback next Monday. However, two weeks have passed, I haven't got any call from the recruiter, I sent her an email asking when I could got an update, no reply so far. I guess this is the way they reject others, which is not professional

Interview Question – Tell me about a time when you went beyond to provide an excellent customer service
What was the most aggressive sale goal you've even had.
