Interviewed Jan 2012 (took 4+ weeks)
Applied of BOTW career site. Received call from recruiter a few days later and had a phone interview. Recruiter recommended me to the hiring manager, Had a 1-1 interview with hiring manager. Hiring manager had me interview with someone else just to get a 2nd opinion. Got job offer at the pay I asked for. Background check was only 3 days because I already had a SAFE number. If you're in banking you know what that is.
Even though I applied for other jobs but was not interviewed, BOTW HR kept me updated by responding with emails in a timely fashion. It took me 5 months to get a job after being layed off by another bank, and in that 5 months I applied with BOTW several times.
Overall, I was very satisfied with the entire process. Looking forward to starting in two weeks (I have to move 200 miles for the job)

Negotiation Details
I was asked in my first 1-1 about desired compensation. I was given the exact amount I asked for, which was less than what I've made in the past. Had to adjust for the economy, but still happy with the amount.
Generous vacation time included.

Interviewed Jan 2009 (took 2 days)
The interview included a 1st round phone interview, as well as a "superday" with four different interviews scheduled. All interviews were primarily behavioral, with minimum technical questions. The questions were mostly aimed at seeing how you work with teams, as well as how you would approach solving a variety of problems.

Interviewed Sep 2011 (took 1+ week)
Applied online rec. A few emails reg. My resume then later rec. A phone call to set up a one on one interview that took place early am. I currently work for another financial instiution so the interview went very well. I had all the qualifications to do a very successful outcome, however when offered the job I was offered a low salary that did not even come close to what I make now so neg. The pay was a big factor that was taking place while the manager stated he would get back to me I waited about a week to then later rec. A generated email from the staffing dept stating they found someone else who better met the requirements.what a joke! I felt the whole situation was handled wrong I was offered a job and because of pay no where did they think they could of been a little more professional or considerate. If a company wants te best. Emp it does cost to get them.

Interviewed Mar 2011 (took a day)
Got to the bank ended up sitting and waiting for 15 minutes in the waiting area. The manager finally came and got me. Two of the managers both interviewed me at the same time. They asked questions such as how much sales experience i've had in the past and so on. You could see the judgement in their eyes though.

Interviewed Jun 2011 in San Ramon, CA (took 2+ months)
The interview process started very smoothly with weekly touch points to keep moving forward based on the outcome of phone, round 1, round 2 and round 3 interviews. After that it was the most pathetic display of decision making as background and even reference checks being made but no decision being made. The Recruiting team was not aware of interviews being held and then the team was offsite for travel. The entire process kept the candidate hanging with the decision. Bank kept on with the interviewing process with more and more candidates and with law of averages, one will find some one with equal or 100% match, it was like some body performing a stress test to see how far the percentages can align.
With this environment where decision making takes for ever, no candidate in a right frame of mind will wait and then join as you will be subjected to the same in your job too. Extreme sense of urgency was communicated from the start with deadlines laid out for milestones in process but was of no good with the poor decision making.
People are with the Bank for ever and are very close minded with little to no acceptance to the new and fresh talent with wide variety of experience and expertise. There was clear disconnect among the team members and one could sense extreme politically inclined environment.

Interviewed Jun 2011 in Littleton, CO (took 3 days)
The two women that interviewed me were excellent. Couldn't say that enough. They were personable and very positive and encouraging. They gave me feedback on all my answers and what they liked about them. They set up a second interview very quickly afterword.

Interviewed Apr 2010 (took 1 week)
The interview seemed to be extremely laid back in nature when contrasted with my recent interview processing with Wells Fargo at approximately the same point in time. The structure of the company is based more on building customer relationships rather than emphasizing certain sales points. Sales becomes secondary to customer service at that point in time.
