Interviewed Jun 2011 in San Ramon, CA (took 2+ months)
The interview process started very smoothly with weekly touch points to keep moving forward based on the outcome of phone, round 1, round 2 and round 3 interviews. After that it was the most pathetic display of decision making as background and even reference checks being made but no decision being made. The Recruiting team was not aware of interviews being held and then the team was offsite for travel. The entire process kept the candidate hanging with the decision. Bank kept on with the interviewing process with more and more candidates and with law of averages, one will find some one with equal or 100% match, it was like some body performing a stress test to see how far the percentages can align.
With this environment where decision making takes for ever, no candidate in a right frame of mind will wait and then join as you will be subjected to the same in your job too. Extreme sense of urgency was communicated from the start with deadlines laid out for milestones in process but was of no good with the poor decision making.
People are with the Bank for ever and are very close minded with little to no acceptance to the new and fresh talent with wide variety of experience and expertise. There was clear disconnect among the team members and one could sense extreme politically inclined environment.

Interviewed Jun 2011 in Littleton, CO (took 3 days)
The two women that interviewed me were excellent. Couldn't say that enough. They were personable and very positive and encouraging. They gave me feedback on all my answers and what they liked about them. They set up a second interview very quickly afterword.

Interviewed Apr 2010 (took 1 week)
The interview seemed to be extremely laid back in nature when contrasted with my recent interview processing with Wells Fargo at approximately the same point in time. The structure of the company is based more on building customer relationships rather than emphasizing certain sales points. Sales becomes secondary to customer service at that point in time.

After applying on line, I received a phone call from and hr person and she set up a time for a phone interview. In the phone interview I was asked questions that were very specific to my past experience working with credit. At the end of the phone interview with the hr person, she set up a 1:1 interview with the head of the department.

Interviewed Jan 2009 (took 4+ weeks)
Very informal and friendly process. Initial contact was with hiring manager. Follow up with his boss and his boss' boss. Most questions were about my background and philosophies in my area of expertise. Also detailed descriptions about the environment.

Interviewed Oct 2009 (took 4+ weeks)
After a phone interview, was invited for a in-person interview the following week. Interview was with the Hiring manager and HR. I was told to that they would be making the hiring decision the following week, but was not called until 3 weeks later. Not sure what took them so long to call... overall positive experience.
