Interviewed Mar 2011 (took 2 days)
I was contacted by a recruiter who found my resume online. They invited me to a group interview which took 1hr. Then I had the opportunity to meet with someone 1:1 which I did. The initial presentation sounded great and the 1:1 interview went well. However, it did sound 'too good to be true'. I'm still in the beginning phases and have more questions for them. But I'm also finding some negative things about them on the internet. Mainly that peoples expectations weren't met. But it sounds like you really need to put in your time first, before you start seeing the fruits of your labor.

Interviewed Jun 2009 (took 2 days)
Was originally contacted by phone after sending a resume to do a 1st step interview. This ended up being a room full of people listening to a presentation. Then we had to fill out a form answering questions. We were told that these forms would be looked at carefully and then only the chosen few would be selected for a 2nd interview, which I was.
They called me back to set it up, and when I went in, I had to wait for just about an HOUR from the scheduled appointment for the guy to see me. I almost left. They whole time they acted like it was such a priviledge to even get to talk to them, and to work there (for a commission only job), yet they made me wait an hour, like I had nothing better to do. After the interview consisting of the typical questions (what is your greatest accomplishment, what is your greatest regret/failure, blah, blah), I was called the next day and offered an agent position which I declined due mostly to the ovedrall impression I got during the hiring process. I imagined it would be oppressive to work there. Also, since they made me wait so long at my intereview, I was able to hear agents calling the "leads" and getting completely rejected akthough they kept touting that they have leads of peopke that want to talk to you! I learned later that the top producers get them, and the other agents get the cast off leads that have already been worked (unseuccessfully).
I also learned later of someone else that got hired and the person was so unqualified for the job, even they couldn't believe they were offered the job, which just proved to me that they'll hire almost anyone for commission only and act like it;'s the ultimate honor for the company to bring you on!

Interviewed Feb 2010 in Lenexa, KS (took 2 days)
Very professional and detail oriented. Phone call interviewer told me a lot about the company and the job. Learned even more from the one on one interview. Very upfront about the type of work. The office seems very work oriented and helpful to newcomers. The person I interviewed with is very hardworking and has vision for the office. Pay attention to what is expected from you in the job interview. Insurance sales isn't for everyone, and they try to make that clear. There is money to be made in this business, but you have to work really hard for it. Though they do offer support, it is really up to you to work the job. You are your own boss, and other than going to the office a couple of times a week, the rest is up to you. If you are not a self-starter, then it would not be a good job.
Interview Questions
Reason for Declining
The position offered commission only, and I wanted a base pay. Also, needed to drive too far each week to work out of the home office. I decided that the commute would make it too difficult for me.
Other Details
I Applied Online and the interview consisted of a Phone Interview, a Group/Panel Interview and a Personality Test.

Interviewed Feb 2010 (took a day)
Contacted by recruiter after posting online interview. Scheduled interview, which turned out to be a group presentation. Left resume. I was called back for second group interview, but I suspect that everyoe is invited back. After reading negative comments online, I did not return for appointment.
