Interviewed May 2011 in Tampa, FL (took a day)
The interview process was good, he was nice and freindly as well as very interactive. The only down side is its only commission based pay, Good money if you sell a package but if you dont sell you dont make money.
Over all my interview was very nice and easy you dont have to be a guiness to work there but you do have to be able to sell and be patient.

Interviewed Apr 2011 in Augusta, GA (took 1 week)
After meeting some Bankers recruiters at a career fair an interview was set up. The interview was, in fact, a group interview which turned out to be quite unimpressive. While I understand that there is a lot of money to be made selling insurance to the senior market, the manner with which the presenter answered, or rather couldn't answer questions was a major turn off. The whole group interview process is really just a slap in the face at the end of the day. I asked how many of the people in the room he was hoping to hire and he quickly said, 'all of ya!'. He quickly backtracked when he realized what he said and made up something about how, 'we're very picky about who we hire, we need the right people, we're very meticulous in our hiring process...' but of course you could see he was backtracking and the fact that without any in depth knowledge of us or questioning of us as individuals, we were given the choice of coming back for another interview.
The 1 on 1 interview was very much the same in terms of the information shared by the interviewer. He reiterated a lot of the same things that were covered in the group interview. At various points, I had to ask him if there was anything he'd like to know about me moving forward as he really just didn't ask me that much or challenge me at all. Basically, he just wanted me to understand that if I wanted to make any money, I'd have to work my tail off and that the business is only for those who are willing to work for it and that a lot of people start, but just can't cut it. Which, I suppose is fair. This job would have been as a 1099, working for myself essentially, so it makes sense that they just hire as many people as they can and hope that some of them work out...

Reason for Declining
I took another job and of the insurance companies I interviewed with, I got the worst 'feel' off this one, largely due to the group interview and the impression I got from the gent who delivered the presentation.

Interviewed May 2011 (took 1 week)
I was called because I posted my resume on Monster.com I was given little information about the position but was told to come in for an "interview." When I got there I was put in a room with 15 other people, certainly not what I had expected. The branch manager went through a power point and tried to win us over with his success story. Seemed to good to be true.

Interviewed May 2011 in San Diego, CA (took 2 weeks)
I suspect that they are taking advantage of the current economy by running as many people as they can through the interview process. The process itself is fairly well managed; but that doesn't keep it from feeling like a cattle call. The initial presentation was like a revival meeting during which questions weren't welcomed.
Interview Questions
Reason for Declining
Uncomfortable with lead/referral set up; front end burden on me was too great; early compensation non-existent; poor technology support of agents.

I got the interview through a Recruiter and the interview consisted of a 1:1 Interview, a Group/Panel Interview and a Background Check.

Interviewed May 2011 in Shreveport, LA (took a day)
I received a call because my resume was posted at monster.com. I was given little details but went ahead and accepted interview. Was told they just opened new office and they need agents. I watched a presentation about the company along with others. The branch manager went over the 100% commission structure and it seemed a great way to make a living. He emphasized over and over that this is like owning your own small business and you have to work very hard at it to be successful but if you follow what we say to do to the letter you will see results. He also said we have to want to really help people and educate them about insurance. He said it's about 45 hrs a week and working weekends if necessary.

I haven't made decision actually. This interview was yesterday. But I was surprised the paperwork said we need to make 200 calls a day. I don't understand how that's possible. Also he said the company gives us leads but the paperwork says you start paying the company 10% for the leads starting the second month.

Interviewed Apr 2011 (took 2 days)
I was sent an email and asked to come in and see information about the company. The information was a presentation with about 6 other people. I was brought back the following week to interview with the branch mananger. He was more interested in talking about his experience with the company then on getting my experience. I then had to do studying to take the exams.

Interviewed Mar 2011 (took 2 days)
I was contacted by a recruiter who found my resume online. They invited me to a group interview which took 1hr. Then I had the opportunity to meet with someone 1:1 which I did. The initial presentation sounded great and the 1:1 interview went well. However, it did sound 'too good to be true'. I'm still in the beginning phases and have more questions for them. But I'm also finding some negative things about them on the internet. Mainly that peoples expectations weren't met. But it sounds like you really need to put in your time first, before you start seeing the fruits of your labor.

They find you on monster or career builder and send emails and call you but the person contacting you knows next to nothing about the job. 100% commission, 'training' that you don't get paid for.

Interviewed Mar 2011 (took 2 days)
Room filled with about 25 people, some of whom looked like they just rolled out of bed. It became clear that they are looking for as many possible recruits as they could get in the room. Given a slick presentation by the Branch Manager and Sales Manager about how much $$ we could expect to make in the first year ($50,000 to $75,000 and up to $120,000 with "bonus"). Heavy emphasis on "ethics" and "morals" - looking good so far... Branch Manager looked like he was hopped up on something, (very nice but switch to decaf.) I began to realize this was a training position and was basically working for free the first 6 months. I think that those giving the presentation had to have some alternative source of income when they started. Overall, nice presentation, but it was a bit like being at a slave auction for my liking...I have obligations to meet and cannot afford to bust a ut while getting very little in return.

Haven't formally said "no thanks" yet, but will do so as I have read other reviews on this site. I don't think this is for me as I do not want to be associated with a company that has "negative" reviews and don't want to pressure people into buying sub-par products. We were all told this was NOT MLM, but it became apparent after a bit of research that you will always be paying somebody for something and getting little left over.

You first attend a career briefing. The manager is great. This job is 100% commission. If you work hard, you'll make the money. Then you come back for a group interview. If you choose to proceed you come back for a final third interview. You get an offer or contract and you start as soon as you pass the test for your license.
