Initial interview consisted of meeting with the Regional Sales Manager and Branch Manager, they asked questions regarding past work history, sales experience and how I felt overall about the industry they were in and the product they sold. They gave me an opportunity to ask questions regarding the company and product, be prepared by researching the website and internet on the company. They spoke briefly about compensation and benefits, I must say the compensation isn't bad at all considering it's a soft economy. After the initial interview if you are to move on the HR Dept. will contact you for a phone interview asking about past work history and a series of questions regarding you as a person on communication, difficult customers and outcomes, personal skills etc. After the phone interview you may take a test online (personality, skills, etc.) your answers will determine if you have secured a position with Barloworld.
