Getting an Interview
Category Launch Manager Interview (Neutral Experience; Difficult Interview)
I applied online and the process took 3 months - interviewed at Bauer Performance Sports in January 2013.
Interview Details – -Started off with a phone interview with HR rep.
-Was then contacted a week laster to come in for face to face interview with HR rep and Hiring Manager
-Met two weeks later at HQ, spent 30-45 minutes with Hiring Manager to go over my background/resume, then spent additional 30 minutes with HR rep to go over similar background/experience questions, was also asked questions like what I am looking for in my next position
-Was then told that I would be contacted on whether I made it to 3 round which would consist of giving a 10 minute presentation on specific topic to panel consisting of Hiring Manager (GM), HR rep, head of R&D, Head of Marketing, Sales team leader, and other Category rep I would be working with
- Was contacted almost a month after initial face to face interview with HR rep and Hiring Manager to let me know I had made it to third wound and would need to prepare a 10 min presentation on specific changes I would make to an existing Bauer Product
-Gave presentation, interviewed by panel, and had additional 30 minute private interview with other Category Rep
-Was contacted about 3 weeks later by HR rep letting me know that they were moving forward with the other candidate I had been competing against
Interview Question – -what are you looking for in you next position
-How do you handle dealing with coaches/customers when you don't deliver product on time/mess up order
-Give me an example when you had to present an idea that you had to convince/persuade a group of people to get behind it
-How are you at developing/maintaining relationships with others Answer Question
Co Manager Interview (Positive Experience; Easy Interview)
I applied online and the process took 2 weeks - interviewed at Bauer Performance Sports in March 2013.
Interview Details – they bring you in to interview with the sm, then they interview with the dm, then you are contacted a week later. Entire process takes about 2 weeks before a job is offered
Interview Question – Why are you leaving your current employer? always feel like your being judged Answer Question
Reason for Declining – the pay was not what i needed to compete with current salary
Vice President of Supply Chain Interview (Neutral Experience; Difficult Interview)
I applied through a recruiter and the process took 3 weeks - interviewed at Bauer Performance Sports in August 2012.
Interview Details – First met with HR representative and then with hiring manager.

I applied through a recruiter and the process took 1+ week - interviewed at Bauer Performance Sports in March 2012.
Interview Details – Interview process consisted of a one on one session and then a group interview with several persons from various departments. Overall the experience was positive.
