Interviewed Apr 2011 (took a day)
Behavioral questions. Prepare to talk about your past, strengths/weaknesses, hardest challenges, etc.
I studied the pharmaceutical industry prior to the interview so I could drop in some facts I knew.
Very quick to get back to me (within a week) but also given little time to consider the offer.
It seemed like I would be working alone, which is not what I was looking for in an internship.
I absolutely loved the HR representative, I would have worked for her any day.

Interviewed Mar 2009 in Berkeley, CA (took 2 weeks)
A phone interview was scheduled with the HR recruiter because I could not go in to the Berkeley site. The process consisted of just one interview, which was nice. The call lasted just under an hour and involved half behavioral, half technical, and one problem solving question (to understand how I think). It was a pleasant process.

Interviewed Nov 2009 (took a day)
Met with 3 people, supervisor, and 2 coworkers. Interview questions went really well. I had the right kind of experience, maybe overqualified, so I was able to answer their questions easily. Atmosphere of the building was depressing. Converted portables that hadn't seen a coat of paint in years. Because it was a drug company, you felt like you were in a prison. Told that security was so tight, not even family would be allowed to visit you. They were honest in the interview and said openly that if the internal candidate they wanted becomes available, the interview would be moot. I was frankly relieved when I was told by my agency that person had become available and the position was no longer viable.

Interviewed Jan 2009 in Montville, NJ (took a day)
I applied through an independent contractor agency. The agency notified me for a phone interview with Bayer human resources. I was then offered a face-to-face group interview with various therapeutic groups. The groups was made up of different personnel, ranging from drug safety technicians to clinical manager. The group interview process took approximately two hours. The work culture seemed laidback, with clothing as very business casual.

Interviewed Aug 2008 in Wayne, NJ (took a day)
First interview was with the external HR recruiter. Very basic, standard questions about my skills and matching with the job description. Second round was at Bayer. I met with the hiring manager, one colleague, and the hiring manager's boss. It was relatively easy. Mostly behavioral and a few tougher questions about what would you do with this product, etc.

One day interview. Interview took about 30 minutes. This was for a support position working on their compliance team - temporary position. Seems like most of their support jobs are hired as temps.
