I was interviewed back on December 1st at Bealls on my birthday. It was a very easy interview. I waited about 5 minutes outside at the Guest Services desk. I was extremely nervous when I saw that there were 8-10 other people being interviewed. They took us back and we all sat down in the break room with 2 of the managers...one basically asked the questions, the other wrote everything down. Also, with being the only one with no experience and hearing the other interviewees' answers...that made me even more nervous. Once the interview started, my nerves calmed down a bit and it was very relaxed...much like a group of friends talking to each other. The questions were extremely easy though and after the interview was done. They called me a day or two after telling me that I got the job and to come in that Monday for orientation.

I met with two individuals face-to-face. I was introduced to them through k-force (recruiter). The interview lasted a little over an hour and was very conversational in nature. Both were very personable and nice. There was no really hard questions it was pretty much informing them of my experience and what I can offer to the position.

It was an in person interview and it took approximately 45 minutes. The store manager was the one to interview me and she talked pretty much the whole time. I had a pretty good feeling about everything since she asked me at the end if I was still interested in the position. She called me 30 minutes after the interview to set up the second with the district manager for the very next day. The district manager took me around the store and asked me what I thought of certain areas of the store. Afterwards she handed me a drug test to take. They called me a few days later to offer me the position and I accepted.

Interviewed one on one. Very unorganized, but seem interested. Went on with testing in store, then had very informal "interview" with store manager. Asked for business card of first interviewer, and was told he did not have one. Sent to drug testing, but sent to wrong clinic. Never heard back from them.

I felt like during the interview that I was not really asked pertinent questions relevant to the job. I was never really given an opportunity to talk about what I can do or how I can be an asset to the company. Mostly they did the talking and at the end I still didn't know exactly what they wanted for the new position. Everyone I spoke to was on a different page about where they wanted the position to go, etc.. Seemed unorganized.
