The project superintendent was forwarded my resume from another job that I applied for. I had a brief phone interview, I traveled on my own dime 3.5hrs to meet him face to face. Brief talk and he offered me the job. He pretty much saw my resume and thought I could do the job. Our conversations confirmed what he thought from my resume. This type of interview is what I was waiting for (i.e. look at my resume, look at the job description, am capable of doing the job or not, meet me and confirm your thoughts).

No able to negotiate. I need to work. Compensation was fair. However I have to pay more taxes working in one state and living in another.

I was interviewed by the IT head. He was quite vague about the job that he had to offer. He asked me a few questions related to IT systems setups for projects. I answered all the questiojns to his utmost satisfaction. However, when I asked him as to what my profile would be, he was not very clear about it. Once he said something and after a few minutes, something else. hence, the ambiguity pulled me off the offer.

Met with the headhunter a number of times regarding the position, relocation and benefits of the change. Had a lengthy phone interview with a two hiring managers. While the phone interview went really well, I came away with the feeling that I would be walking in to a job requiring a huge amount of overtime and weekends in order to be successful. Based on the feedback from the recruiter, the job was mine if I was willing to relocate (obviously pending an in-person interview trip). Unfortunately, the interviewers gave me no real indication that work/life balance was a concern for the company or leadership, and given that I have a family, I decided to decline moving forward with the process.

the recruiter first gave me a run down of the company's accomplishments (an airport in china, hoover dam, etc). then he began with the usual questions. tell me about your last job, your IT experience, what classes did you like in school (to get a feel for your interests), and all of that. nothing challenging. he gave me more details about the position, asked if i had any questions. he also said their wouldn't be much in the way of formal training initially, but that the current team would be supportive. he was very friendly and told me to call back with any questions.
i did, but he didn't return my call.

I applied online and received a phonecall for an interview. I was interviewed with an HR person and a department manager at the same time which lasted for an hour. I received a phonecall for the offer within 7days. I went to discuss the offer further and accepted the job.
