Getting an Interview

I applied through other source. The process took 2+ weeks – interviewed at Becks European (Scottsdale, AZ).
Frank Beck will seem very cool and his wife Kimberly will seem very nice as well. Frank will put you on "working interview" status for a couple of weeks. Don't expect to be paid during this time either. I got yelled at for expecting a paycheck.
- What do you expect from your employer, what does your employer expect from you? 1 Answer
The negotiation phase? Frank will tell you that he'll pay you a certain salary, then when you start, he'll tell you that you're not worth that and make it much less than the original offer.
- Accepted OfferNegative ExperienceDifficult Interview
The process took 3 days – interviewed at Becks European (Scottsdale, AZ) in June 2011.
The male owner attempts to intimidate you out of taking the job and "personally prides" himself on that. The female owner comes across very sweet (please note this all changes after months on the job and there are many past-employees who would testify to this fact). There was an initial phone Q&A and then an in office interview with both owners. Unfortunately while you may be ecstatic to have a job, this owner takes advantage of that fact. There are expected 10 hour days (salary) with no time off for medical appointments unless you intend to give up any and all lunches until that time is met.
There was no negotiation, the male owner makes an offer and you accept it or go elsewhere. If you are a female hired into this position expect a salary of at least 10K less than what is offered to a male (yes I have documents to support this claim as well).
- Declined OfferNegative ExperienceAverage Interview
I applied online. The process took 1 day – interviewed at Becks European (Scottsdale, AZ) in October 2010.
The owner tries to intimidate you and the wife all act so kind until you are hired and then the ugly side comes out.
