interviewer kept on taking calls during interview----had a customer issue but was really really really really really really really really really RUDE by interrupting interview several times. Was asking basic questions on interview--not a detail interview and they talked more about bed bath ten ask me questions..--was weird.. wrong first impression.

After finding my resume online, the regional hiring manager contacted me via email in October. We set up a phone interview for the following week. I was prepared. He didn't call. The next week, he emailed to apologize and reschedule. Rescheduled phone interview time came and went, again no call. I left a polite phone message and email to let him know I was still interested but never heard back. I guess if this is how they treat the people that THEY RECRUIT, maybe I don't want to work for the company.

Initial phone interview led to a face to face interview at one of the stores. Relatively easy interview. Make sure you did your research about the company before applying. They WILL ask you why you applied and why you are a great fit for the company. My interviewer wanted to know how I would merchandise the store. 1 thing to note. The posting for Store Manager isnt exactly for store manager. They dont direct hire store managers. They do directly hire Salaried Department Managers which from there you can advance up to a Store Manager. This was clarified at the end of my interview. At which time we discussed salary. Which I was informed that it was highly unlikely they were able to match my current salary.

First interview was a phone interview with the recruiter. Second interview was with the recruiter at the store. The third interview was with DM in his office.
Neither of the interviewiers asked a lot of questions. They talked more about the job duties and responsibilities if you got the job.

They were really intrested in what you knew about the company and it history. They were key on work hours and if you were willing to logg in the hours that they expect management to put into the business. They will expect you to place business first and yourself second. All about BBB....
