I applied through a recruiter and the process took 1 week - interviewed at Bell Canada in August 2010.

Interview Details – There were two separate interviews. Basically how you deal with stress, what drew you to Bell, are you comfortable with change? (I think this one was important because the services we were to sell on the phone changed regularly so you have to answer yes to get through)... standard stuff. Dont remember the exact questions off hand other than that.

I applied online and the process took 4 days - interviewed at Bell Canada in October 2012.

Interview Details – initial phone interview to determine eligibility. Questions such as when you are available to start and shifts you are able to take. If chosen they send you through e-mail a communication and virtual customer service test. Communication assessment requires a landline and takes about 20 mins ditto for the on-line virtual customer service test. The test determines your typing skills, and it is multiple choice format. You are the customer service agent and you need to finish a call from start to finish. When done you call in that you are done. Then they call you and if selected arrange another phone interview. Second interview was mostly behavioural type questions. The recruiter sent me an already used test number so I had to call it in (more time lost). After the second phone interview the lady said. If you are selected than you get a call for face to face interview if not we will e-mail you. You should have an answer in 24-48 hrs. I waited. After 48 hours I called leaving a message that I had not received a call nor an-email. So frustrating! Finally, I received an e-mail. They seemed a little disorganized and so maybe it is a good thing I do not work for them!

Interview Question – What do you think is an appropriate amount of days off an agent should have for the year and what reasons would a person have to have those days off?   View Answer
