Interviewed Aug 2011 (took a day)
I was interviewed with two people from the department I was going into. We started with general questions such as "how was your commute?" and they asked me if the transportation would be a problem. We went over the resume. They give you aptitude tests on math and English and one test to find about your personality. You also get a case about 10 lines where you have to cut costs about 15% in one month. The interview process will take about 3 to 4 hours.

Interviewed Jun 2009 in Toronto, ON (Canada) (took 3 days)
It was two phone interviews.
The first one was mainly about basic algorithm and data structures. The interviewer asked about how hash table works, how to count 1's in a binary integer, and multiplication without *. He then asked me to write code on a piece of paper and read it to him.
The second interview was about designing a linked list API in C. He emailed me a link to collabedit so there was real-time coding. After listing all functions I was told to implement a cloning function.

Interviewed Jan 2009 in Vancouver, BC (Canada) (took a day)
Interestingly the entire process was conducted by the manager of network operations in Vancouver, and nobody from headquarters or HR were involved to the exception of the background check.
It was quite the pleasant experience actually; I spoke over the phone with the NOC manager and we arranged a date and time that worked for us both then when I arrived, I was greeted by the Manager and the two Lead Analysts who gave me a tour of the operations centre and explained a "day in the life".
Everyone (Except myself) was dressed very casually and we had a casual conversation in one of the boardrooms. As expected they asked the general "S.T.A.R.S" based interview questions. (Top strengths, top weaknesses, where do you see yourself in five years, what past employers would say about you, etc.) and we then just spoke about our personal lives for a while and had a few laughs.
They seemed as uncomfortable with interviewing as I was being interviewed; they said that it is never a comfortable process, but it is great when we they meet people who they can "Just talk to".
The interview lasted a hour and a half and I was given an offer the next day.
Interview Questions
Negotiation Details
They were VERY sticky about negotiating salary or vacation time as albeit network/client facing and independent, we technically fell into a union position. They said the number calculated was based on education and experience within a range on $5000. After some time there, I was able to find that this was indeed true and the NOC manager had very little power to change anything in respect to pay.

Interviewed Mar 2011 in Mississauga, ON (Canada) (took 5 days)
This was an internal lateral move. I was offered the job by my exposure to this team through my previous job.
I had a phone interview, they asked about my aspirations and why I was leaving my existing job.

Interviewed Jul 2011 in Calgary, AB (Canada) (took 3+ weeks)
I first found Bell Canada through an advertisement on Kijiji.ca. I saw that the posting was fairly new, so I decided to get on the ball and send a resume quick. I had to fill out an online survey from a third party. It took about 10 minutes. Four days later, I woke up to a message on my phone asking to schedule a phone interview. I was really happy, and I quickly returned the call to a rep via long distance. I briefly spoke to the rep, and we set up a time to interview that afternoon.
The phone rang promptly at the chosen time, and I was asked target interview questions. The interview went well. He then notified me that I would receive an online invitation to do a survey from a third party and that this was required as part of the recruiting process. He explained to me that I would hear back within the next couple days. As expected, within a few seconds I received the e-mail. The survey was a repeat of the survey I had to initially take but longer. It was a skills test with multiple choice questions to evaluate your personality.
The next morning I woke up to my phone ringing and this time answered the call. It was the two managers from the two closest hiring stores. They asked to set up an interview with me. Upon setting up a date, we exchanged contact information and said our goodbyes. The next day, I arrived on time and met with the two managers. They had me sit outside the store (the location was in a mall) on a couch, where the two sat at each of my sides. They asked me similar target interview questions.
Next, they asked me for two government-issued ID cards. I provided them with my health care and driver's license. They then came back with a form to be filled out in entirety. This is where it gets interesting.
The form was for the criminal record check. It required your Social Insurance and Social Security number (only for the States). The manager obviously was not familiar with the hiring process, as she was unsure whether I should fill in the form titled "United States and Other Countries". I noticed the field of Social Security Number and realized that that's for the States, but I filled it in anyway, substituting that for my Social Security Number.
The next interesting thing is that they required three references. Now these aren't your typical references; labelled on the form is the requirement for references that do not include personal or social acquaintances or family (only supervisors). For me my job history wasn't a good one, but I put the information down anyway and left one field blank. I told her I "forgot" the number. She informed me that I would be contacted and that I could later provide her with the information. Tricky issue, right?
If I could redo this part, I would recommend using your friends as references and then having them play along to confirm the legitimacy of the positions listed.
I'm still waiting on a response, but I'm pretty sure that contacting my former employers will alert to some sort of "security risk", and my reputation will be tarnished. Good try, but now I know for next time :).

Interviewed Jun 2011 in Dorval, QC (Canada) (took 3 days)
I was approached for a phone interview for the postion of Technical Consultant with SAS by the individual in charge of consultant hiring in HR. The phone interview went quite well. Questions were very basic and centered mostly around using the tools and applications that would be used in the job (i.e. Enterprise Guide, SAS 9.2, Web report Studio, OLAP cubes, etc.). At the end I was asked to go in for an interview with the Project Manager and the technical lead on the project. Unfortunately I got sick for about 3 days before the interview and did not get a chnace to prep as well as I had hoped. The interview was not at the hiring company's place of business but was at the client's place of business instead. The interview was very laid back and very much centered around dimensional data modeling and OLAP concepts and technologies. I do not have a lot of experience in those areas and did not respond well. They were very good and quick to get back and advise I would not be going on to the next round. They also provided a lot of good constructive feedback.

Pretty casual. We just sat down and chatted. My initial contact was through the co-op program at my school. They were really interested in seeing how i'd mesh with the rest of the group.
