Interviewed Oct 2011 in Tampa, FL (took 4+ weeks)
I decided to apply to work for Belltower Books because of friends who have been very successful at schools around the country working for this organization. I saw some brightly colored flyers around campus, so I went onto their website and applied. I was contacted by a Regional Director after I applied, and then contacted once more to set up an on campus interview with him a couple weeks later. Interviews are very quick (15 minutes at an on campus location) and the questions are very straightforward. The interviewer really just wants to get a feel for how well you understand the job, how entrepreneurial you are, how dedicated you will be during finals week, and whether or not they can trust you with the responsibility. The job is not rocket science, so I believe they are simply looking for hard working individuals who are personable.

Interviewed Nov 2011 in Providence, RI (took a day)
After applying online, I received an email a few weeks later to set up a phone interview. The guy was very nice and easy to talk to. He said I would hear back within a week. I got a rejection letter more than a week later.

Interviewed May 2009 (took a day)
Initially starts with the filling out of an online form. They then contact you a short time later for an interview. You interview with them, and then they'll contact you (usually) within a day or two of their hiring decision.
Over all, I was not impressed with the employer, one of the founders of the company, that interviewed me. He gave out a false sense that I had been hired. After speaking with a couple of other students, they had a similar experience as well, and almost appeared to be a little discriminatory. If you're not a jock or cheerleader, stay away from these guys.
