Business Analyst Interview

Business Analyst

I applied through college or university and interviewed at Belvedere Trading.

Interview Details – 1st Round interview was a phone screen with HR - very friendly. This was to see if you would be a good fit for the company culture and covered questions regarding your resume, core values and interests. Heard back within a few days that I made it to the next round which would be a skype interview with two current Business Analysts. The interviewers were cordial, however one would interrupt me as if my answers were not what she wanted to hear. Started off with resume review, asking specific technical questions about what was on my resume followed by logic tests, business case and explaining use tests.

Interview Question – Primary functions of content management system?

Difficult Interview

Business Analyst Interview

Business Analyst

I applied through college or university and the process took 2 weeks - interviewed at Belvedere Trading in November 2011.

Interview Details – I applied through my school's career bulletin board. Although it was mandatory for trader candidates to do a logic test, business analyst candidates did not. The first interview consisted of a one-on-one interview where the interviewer asked both behavioral and case questions. A behavioral question was questions like "why did you decide your major, and why did you choose to go to this school?". My case question was "how many trays does a new restaurant need to buy at the beginning of the year?". After about a week, they emailed a prompt for a business proposal that was due in a week after the receipt of the email. If they like your proposal, they will send you up to Chicago for the last interview.
