First you walk them through your resume. Then they ask you questions like why do you want to be a trader? what do you know about trading? tell me about a situation when you had to make a quick decision without all of the necessary details? what kind of working environment do you prefer? Do you like working in groups, or alone?
then come the mental math questions...they are very easy, but my nerves got the best of me and i couldn't think...10*10, 12*13, 24*25
then some probability questions...what is the chance of correctly placing 5 individuals in the correct order of their birthday if they are sitting at a round table? die probability? if you have 18 marbles and they are all the same weight except for one, how many time do you have to weigh on a balancing scale to figure out the heaviest?

Interviewed Dec 2011 in Chicago, IL (took 4+ weeks)
1st interview was on campus. Followed up with a business project. got an invitation to fly out to Chicago. Interview was 5 hours long. 1st was a presentation to convince a panel to accept the business project as worthwhile. After that, there were 5 one-on-one interviews with the 4 panelists and 1 extra person. They took the time to ask basic questions, answer questions and help you with your presentation. After the one-on-one interviews, you are asked to present to the panel again where they listen and decide whether or not they want to hire you. Dinner with first year hires after. Make sure you bring up your greek (frat/sorority) affiliation.

Interviewed Nov 2011 (took 2 weeks)
I applied through my school's career bulletin board. Although it was mandatory for trader candidates to do a logic test, business analyst candidates did not. The first interview consisted of a one-on-one interview where the interviewer asked both behavioral and case questions. A behavioral question was questions like "why did you decide your major, and why did you choose to go to this school?". My case question was "how many trays does a new restaurant need to buy at the beginning of the year?". After about a week, they emailed a prompt for a business proposal that was due in a week after the receipt of the email. If they like your proposal, they will send you up to Chicago for the last interview.

Interviewed Oct 2011 in Chicago, IL (took a day)
Had a first round on campus. Was first made to do a math test, where I had to complete 60 questions in 20 minutes. After that math test I had a one-on-one with the interviewer where he first walked through my resume and then asked me several brainteasers and mental math questions.

Lots of math and brainteaser questions. Gave me about 50+ problems to finish in 15 minutes or so. very casual--they all showed up in jeans. also was about 15 minutes late to the interview (it was the first interview of the day). Never called me back, though..

Interviewed Feb 2010 in Chicago, IL (took a day)
I wasn't given any pen or paper to solve problems on. Some mental math problems.
One trader who looks like he hasn't slept for days and a pretty girl came into a room. The trader guy kept asking me questions while the girl was taking notes. The office looked nice, and the atmosphere was calm.

Interviewed Mar 2011 in Chicago, IL (took a day)
Fairly straight forward process.
Questions on options trading / Greeks / Black-Scholes formula derivation etc. Pretty standard stuff.
The person who interviewed me seem relaxed.
My interview went well and the person interviewing with me seemed happy with the result of the interview.
Strangely I got no follow up offer or rejection email.
