I applied in-person and the process took a day - interviewed at Best Buy in June 2012.
Interview Details – Best Buy is very upfront with the (JOS) Job Offering System processes. The positions are always posted in a timely fashion and very tranparent with all the details you would need. Location, Salary, Point of Contact info, and Position. The job posting will run for a certain amount of time and once that job offer closes, interviews will be scheduled and than carried out. At that point the panel that conducts the interview makes there decision and the candidates not selected are contacted - if within the organizaton usually given a game plan, than the selected individual is job offered. A salary is discussed and a start date is agreed upon.
Reason for Declining – I chose the severance package , this best met the needs of my family and lifestyle.
