Interviewed Jul 2008 (took 1 week)
The first interview is a phone interview by an senior. The second interview is by an assistant manager. The third interview is a geeksquad senior and the fourth interview is by the store manager. Each interviews lasted about 30-40 minutes which all managers seem to care about your ability to sale and attach accessories and service plan. The interview isn't hard but you got a answer according to what they want to hear or else you're not going to get hire.

Interviewed Jul 2009 (took 2 weeks)
I went on a total of 3 interview. First interview was with the store manager one on one. The second interview was with the CIA manager and another sales manager. I then had my third interview with the store manager and was instructed to take a drug test within 4 days or the job offer would be declined. After taking the drug test it took about a full week to hear back from them. In total the process took about 2.5 weeks.

Interviewed Aug 2007 in Chicago, IL (took 2 weeks)
They do not have paper applications, all applications need to be filled out on their website. Then when you complete the application your supposed to wait for a call, after a week of not getting a call, I called in to check on the status of my application. I spoke to the hiring manager, and we setup a time and day for my first of two interviews. I walked in and asked the security employee to page the manager, and waited for about 30 minutes, finally the manager came and greeted me and took me into the interview room. In the room he asked me basic questions such as why do you want to work here, and are you a team player. Then when the interview was over, he said he would talk to the General Manager about me and I should recieve a call for my second interview. After about a week of not hearing from anyone, I called in and got the hiring manager again, and we setup a second interview. I met with the general manager this time, and this interview was much shorter, and the questions were mostly theft related, such as if I saw someone steal a piece of gum, would I report him? The GM basically wanted to insure that I was trustworthy. He offered me a certain hourly pay, and there wasn't much room to negotiate, he bases the pay offer on what you write down as your previous pay as well as what you would like to get paid from the internet application, so make sure to write a high number because you can't negotiate after that. Well he said I was hired, and gave me an address and time that I had to go take a drug test, and once the results from that came back I was working within a week.
