Interviewed Sep 2011 in Concord, CA (took 2 days)
I saw that tey were conducting interviews for the new store in the area. I brought with me my resume, but you also have to fill out this form that they will give you. It would be good to have your copy of diploma ready just in case. The tip is to looki directly at the person you're talking to, be accomodating and smile. The hiring manager was friendly, and will make it comfortable for you. Good luck

Interviewed Mar 2009 in San Diego, CA (took a day)
This interview process was very straightforward. I basically sat down in the manager's office as he looked over my application history. He asked me several questions regarding my personality and what I'd do in several situations and scenarios. After that I filled out a background compliance check, as well as other appropriate documentation. After the appropriate paper work I was given an employee personality test to see what role I should take in the store. A few days later, I was given a skills test which consisted of basic math, reading, and situational tests.

Interviewed May 2008 (took a day)
Nothing really, took a math test got hired on the spot and had to wait to have a background check done in order to sell guns. I went in just looking to turn in my application form and didnt dress for an interview (had actually just been at the gym). A manager met with me right there and had me take the test and asked me when I could start. Helped that I was female because all other employees were male and they needed help in the clothing department.

Interviewed Apr 2008 in Walnut, CA (took 6 weeks)
After applying through forms , it usually takes them about 2 weeks to process them you will receive an interview within 3-4 weeks from the time you submitted papers. Then you will receive a notice either by phone or mail, then you will proceed to set a date for an interview, be prompted and dress preferably in a shirt and tie outfit. The person who interviewed me was nice and watchful, they pay attention to everything you say , so watch what you say don't use slang and always be polite. You will again recieve and notice that says you are accepted or reject for the position. they people i work with have been a wide variety, some of them are lazy and its evident in messy shops, but the last store i was at we had a tight ship, the manager was always on you if you didn't do it but the guys and girls i worked there were a great bunch.
