Interviewed Aug 2011 (took a day)
The interview was very comfortable but they only asked me 1 question. I was interviewed by 2 people who were very nice and easy to talk with. But other than the one question, the time was spent just talking about the position. It was nice to learn all about the position, but it would be nice to have more questions asked about my interest and qualifications.

Reason for Declining
Very minimal hours. The ad for the position only said part-time but it was only 6 hours per week, with a very slim possibility of a few more hours. It was also from 2-5 in the afternoon, which would greatly limit taking any other job with another company. I was disappointed in the lack of hours, which is ultimately why I declined the position.
Other Details
I Applied Online and the interview consisted of a Group/Panel Interview.

Interviewed Feb 2011 in Tifton, GA (took 2 weeks)
I responded to a newspaper advertisement of my position with an informal inquiry & a copy of my resume. The next day I received an e-mail asking me to send a formal cover letter to go with my resume. The next day, I received an e-mail asking me to come to an interview in person. My 1:1 interview lasted almost 2 hours and my, now employer, talked about the company & what they do & what I would be doing. She showed me around the office & introduced me to would-be co-workers. I got the impression that it was very important to them to find someone who was very personable, but professional. I was asked to provide references before I left & told that they would be interviewing other candidates for the position until the next week. I was told some of the challenges/ downsides of my position & told that I would receive an e-mail with several scenarios of possible problems I may run into. I received that e-mail about 1 week kater. The next morning I received an e-mail stating that my answers were great and that they hoped to make a decision before the end of the week. I received an e-mail on Friday at 3pm offering me the position at my expected salary. My only concern is that my employer did not call to offer me the job in person. The e-mail, while I was very happy to get it, seemed impersonal. I very much like to talk to people & see their face & hear emotion in their voice to get a feel for who they really are. My perception was that my boss is not a confrontational or assertive person & prefers to do things that can be measured or recorded to c.y.a. This has proven to be an accurate description thus far.

Interviewed Jun 2009 in Philadelphia, PA (took 6 weeks)
I submitted an online application for the position. Later, I was called for a brief telephone screen, then scheduled in-person interviews on-site with multiple people. The questions were much more about attitude than skills, although there was one skill-specific interviewer. The people were clearly passionate about the company and its mission.

Interviewed Jun 2008 (took a day)
This interview was fairly easy, and completely worth it. It only lasted about an hour. I was asked questions about my background, my religion, my life in gneral. They then asked what age group you would like to work with and if you'd like a boy or a girl. They strive to meet the needs of both parties. Completely worth it.

Interviewed Jan 2009 (took a day)
The interview went very well. It was very relaxed and I did not feel at all like I was being interrogated. The office was laid out in a comfortable way and the questions asked were all pertinent.
