Interviewed Aug 2011 in San Francisco, CA (took a day)
On campus interview was first. Interviews are short (30 minutes or less) since the interviewer is trying to see many people in one day.
In person interview occurs on same day with several other candidates. All the candidates start in the same room and get an overview presentation from HR.
Next, you spend about 45 minutes in a 1:1 interview with four or five people. Interviewers generally do a good job of trying to put you at ease, and they realize you may be nervous.
These interviews are very technical. Topics covered include algorithms and data structures, Java, SQL, relational database design, OO design, etc. They also ask basic finance questions, and expect the candidate to know something about the company.

Interviewed Aug 2011 in London, England (United Kingdom) (took a day)
The interview was a full day of meetings with various department heads and directors. They asked questions around the CV, my specialist knowledge and past experiences. It was a mix of broad general industry questions as well as questions about the organisation itself.

Interviewed Jan 2012 (took a day)
Two managers asked me what I will do with a bunch of money, how will I do the investment. It's very "finance", not exactly what I am looking for.

Interviewed Nov 2011 in Princeton, NJ (took 2 weeks)
The interview was difficult. The guy didn't seem to be having the best day, but it started out simple enough. I had to answer some questions about the market in general and a couple questions about finance (how do you calculate beta, what are the dangers of using a linear model to assess risk). Then I got raked over the coals with regard to programming. I don't have programming experience and that is clear on my resume and application, but the guy insisted on asking 15 min of questions (out of an hour interview) about my experience with different languages. This was basically 15 min of me saying, "I don't know" in as many ways as I could think of. After that it was some behavioral questions, but I was pretty disheartened and that was that.

Interviewed Sep 2011 (took a day)
Had an initial phone interview. Was invited to meet with HR Representative, Heading of Billing and Billing Supervisor. Did not see a lot of diversity, which is typical. Typical Corporate office, this function was consolidated from several areas and was in transition. The job was in need of improvement, required ten hour days minimum.

Interviewed Jun 2010 in Wilmington, DE (took a day)
I applied online through my university's website and received an e-mail from HR asking to set up an interview time. I called and set it up. The interview lasted 2 hours on site, half-hour sessions with different managers in the department. It was a very relaxed, conversational interview. I suspect this was mainly because it was for a co-op position and not a full-time position. Had I been interviewing for a full-time position, I would expect it to be with more behavioral, industry questions. A couple weeks later, I received an offer through my university's site.
