Interviewed Jan 2011 in Lakewood, NJ (took 3 weeks)
After applying online I was contacted later on that night. I spoke with someone within the company on the phone and set up to visit a store to talk with employees where they went over their experience within the company and tell a little more about the company culture. After doing a store visit I contacted the recruiter where I had another phone interview. The next step was going in to the corporate office for an actual one on one interview where I spoke with two people in higher positions within the company. Finally I recieved a call from the recruiter to come in to corporate again where I was offered the job.

Interviewed Apr 2010 (took 3 weeks)
I applied online and after 5 - 6 days recieved a call from Recruiter. Recruiter asked me few general questions over phone and called in for 1st round of interview at another city on saturday . I drove there, arrived at time and was successful at 1st round, inteview was based on my resume, she asked me about my job responsibilities at my previous jobs, what I learnt, etc. In the end she told me I have to go for 2nd round at another city next week.
Ist interviewer was nice and intelligent.
My 2nd interview was with hiring manager,1:1. I gave her my copy of Resume as she didn't have one..... Hiring Manager asked me questions like why you want to work with BTG, what can you bring to company etc .
Interview Questions
Reason for Declining
I was over qualified for the position and salary was low.

You just go in the day of the interview and the manager just shows you around. You get to see how staff interacts with customers. Then the manager explains to you about the company. Then you have to call HR and let them know how it went. They say the will call you.

Interviewed Nov 2009 in Springfield, VA (took 2 days)
The interview was rather informal, but the people were professional and extremely friendly. I cannot stress enough how great the people were- the position's pay was the only big problem.
Interview Questions
Reason for Declining
They don't seem to treat their employees well, making them stand up all day. Why would they not be able to sit on a tall stool while clicking on a computer? Sitting wouldn't make them look any less professional. But my main problem was that the pay is extremely low, especially considering the level of education they want their employees (who are basically glorified salespeople who do absolutely no design work) to have.
Other Details
The interview consisted of a Phone Interview and a 1:1 Interview.

Interviewed Nov 2008 in Boston, MA (took 3 weeks)
I was very optimistic about blinds-to-go. They called me within a week of campus recruitment to set up my first interview. The first interview was at one of the stores. I met a few employees who were all very helpful and had great things to say. Then I had an interview with the regional manager who wasvery friendly and it seemed to go well. After another week the regional manager callsme to invite to an interview at their coopeate offices in new jersey. They flew me in and put me up in a hotel that evening. In the morning a driver picked me an another interviewee up and took us to the office. We had a breif meet and greet then went to explore the actual factory that makes the blinds. When we were done we ha lunch then started interviewing. I had to interview with 5 different people. I felt like I did pretty well and was waiting anxiously to hear back. I sent everyone who interviewed me a thankyou email and waited for the news. About a week went by and nothing. I called the woman I had first interviewed with andleft a message letting her know I was still very interested in the job. Another week went by and nothing. I left another message and sent an email. fI was rejected thats fine but atleast give methe curtiousy of telling me. It's been about 5 months andI still never heard a word. Very unprofessional.
