This was a very personal and friendly interview that was less about the pressure of 'getting a job' and more about learning if you're a fit for the company. The environment was extremely comfortable and the interviewer truly wanted to know about me and my experiences.

I applied online and literaly got a call 2hrs later to schedule an interview the next day. On my interview day I met the manager she was very friendly she did have me wait though due to her only employee being late that was about 15-20 minutes. So, once the 1:1 started she went over the questions asked on the online application and other very basic interview questions. The manager seemed very passionate and devoted to the company it really was a breath of fresh air to meet someone as dedicated as she was. She explained the core values and beliefs of the company. I got a call the next day to set up an "in store assesment" but turned it down. Oh MAJOR word of advice don't compare them to bath and body works or in anyway say that you confused one with the other! She was really happy that I was the only person so far to know the difference between the two.

Reason for Declining
The sales position was only part time and was made clear that their would be times i would only be scheduled to work 10hrs a week. So, I knew that wasn't for me. I would have gladly accepted the job if they offered me a full time position.

I arrived to the interview 10 minutes early. Store Manager seemed frazzled and before she barely even greeted me, she stated that she had just fired someone, which I thought was very unprofessional considering I was a potential employee. The store manager took me around the corner of the store to conduct interview on a bench. She explained the company's view, and talked her past in retail. She said that they only give part-time employment for 30 hours a week. Asked me what I could bring to the company. I had to do a product demo for the manager. She said I did good. She said she would call me within 48 hours, It's 3 weeks later, and I haven't received a call.

Applied online and got a call after a week to have a 1 on 1 interview. The manager was amazingly nice and made the interview relaxed. Then had to demo a product for the manager. Called after another week offering the job.

There was a sign in the window saying the store was hiring. I went in with a resume and cover letter and got a call back a couple days later. I met the manager in a coffee shop next door - she was the nicest woman, and the interview was very laid back and comfortable. And this was my first job in high school, so I was really nervous. She asked typical questions, what values of the Body Shop do you identify with (sourcing from sustainable farms, sponsoring charities and co-ops, no testing on animals, etc), what sort of Body Shop products do I use and enjoy, where do I see myself going in the company, what I want to do after high school. It wasn't very long, but I got a call back a couple days later with a job offer for part-time.

It was quite easy actually, I just applied online went to the shop location I applied for talk to the store manager and kept coming in consistently until they saw that I really wanted the job then interviewed me a week later offering the job to me.

During summer vacation from college, I needed a job. I went all over 34th st and handed my resume to the different stores in the area. I walked into the Body Shop in the Manhattan Mall and gave my resume. A day later, I received a phone call from store manager asking me to complete a personality test online and based on my scores I will get a call back, After completing the test, I received a phone call about coming in for an interview. Did well then I got the job. Very easy process.
