Interviewed Nov 2011 (took a day)
The process was very structured. The interviewers we almost exclusively concerned with the answers following the previously specified structure than they were about the actual content and the skills/background they communicated. After the interview I was told that they had no doubt that I would perform the job very well, but that I was not selected because my answers didn't follow the "situation-action-result" structure well enough.

Interviewed Dec 2011 (took 2 months)
I went to the SHPE conference and i got an interview during the hospitality suits. i was interviewed by 2 engineers from the company. It went extremely well. after about three weeks, they contacted me via e-mail to go to Everett, wa for an other interview. at Everett i was interviewed by three engineers from the team, they just prepared a little presentation on what they do. The next day i went to visit the plant, where they make the airplanes, after an one hour tour i went back for another 30 minutes interview with the chief engineer. After about three weeks of waiting i received an email saying that i was not going to get a job offer..

Interviewed Apr 2011 in Seattle, WA (took a day)
The in-house interview process starts with applying online to the desired position via the BESS site in the Boeing intranet. Once you answer the initial questions they have set up in the requisition, you can then submit your resume. Eventually you get a call from the hiring manager's assistant to set up the interview. At the interview they ask at most four questions that have you describe your experiences during different situations.

Interviewed May 2011 in Everett, WA (took a day)
Standard questions very structured, fairly easy interview. Surprised I wasn't brought on-site for an interview.
Reason for Declining
Salary was sufficient. Benefits good.
Too many unknowns, found it difficult to get answers regarding the position, was not brought on-site for interview. Had no idea what manager I would be working for or on what program. Repeatedly requested information regarding the position and had my requests ignored. Just basically was weird that I had to take back channels to try and find out information regarding the position. Finally gave up when I couldn't get answers to my questions regarding relocation benefits. I was not willing to relocate my family half way across the country with out knowing what I was getting into.
