I applied through college or university. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Booz Allen Hamilton (Herndon, VA) in Nov 2009
Interview
I applied through on-campus university recruiting. At 9:30PM on the night prior to first round interviews the university recruiter called me to schedule an interview for the following morning. This contact took place nearly a week after the date recruiters gave to us as the notification date.
Finals rounds took place in a corporate office in Virginia. Again, I learned the recruiters misspoke about the recruiting process. I had anticipated 5 30-minute interviews, but all interviewees received just two, which were closer to 20/25 minutes in length. Some interviewers interviewed just graduate students and others interviewed just undergraduates.
The behavioral questions lasted for just a few minutes, at which point interviewees were given control of the interview. This happened in my previous interview as well, so I hypothesized BAH places an emphasis on candidate interest or ability to connect with others.
I applied online. I interviewed at Booz Allen Hamilton (McLean, VA)
Interview
There are several interviews for a role, it can a time consuming process. It may take a longer time than expected. Please be patient. Believe in yourself, it is important.
I interviewed at Booz Allen Hamilton (Fort Belvoir, VA)
Interview
Standard interview process of a phone call with an internal recruiter, phone call with the hiring manager, and then an in person interview. Asked standard consulting, aptitude and attitude questions.
I applied online. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Booz Allen Hamilton in Dec 2024
Interview
I went through four different stages of interviews over a ~ 1 month timeframe. 1. Screen with recruiter. 2. Interview with hiring manager 3. Technical talk and half-day interview with BAH employees. 4. Interview with DoD client.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
Hiring manager asked about my general experiences to gauge my expertise. BAH employees individual meetings focused on technical questions and how I would relate technical content to a non-technical or semi-technical audience. The interview was very professional and the questions were well thought out.
