Interviewed Oct 2011 in Framingham, MA (took 4 weeks)
Got called through a college recruiter, who set up a couple of phone call interviews to just get to know me, then a couple of group phone interviews to hear about classes and projects I had worked on.

Interviewed Aug 2011 in Framingham, MA (took 6 weeks)
I was contacted shortly after submitting my resume. The first question I was asked is, "What is your current salary?" I was surprised that the recruiting rep would open the conversation like that. Over the next few weeks, before being able to schedule the in-person interviews, there were more gaffes like this. First, they reached out to find out my availability, then didn't schedule anything. Then, 4 weeks went by, and they reached out again. When I called them back, I spoke to a scheduling rep, and they claimed it was a mistake and that the position had been put on hold. When I asked some clarifying questions, I was transferred to the original recruiting rep. She told me that I had accidentally be included for in person interviews because they thought my salary requirements were within their range, but that they had "realized their mistake" and that's why the other rep said I wasn't being called back in. We discovered that they had my salary requirements off by over $25K, Once I was deemed "back in range," we successfully scheduled 4 hours of interviews. I almost stopped the process of interviewing because of the inappropriateness and detail deficient recruiting rep. The actual interview process was fine. Very friendly, very smart people working for Bose. I probably would have accepted an offer, but it wasn't meant to be :-)

Interviewed Feb 2011 in Framingham, MA (took a day)
Nice phone conversation with someone from HR who laid out what expectations were on both sides. Had 1:1 with three people later on. Those included were the hiring manager, hiring managers boss, and random other person from the department. Everyone was polite, on time, asked good but typical questions. Compared to other places where I have interviewed, security was aware I was coming in, seems to be a rarity these days.
Fit is very important to people there, ability too, but they spent plenty of time with questions on fit. Seemed like an interesting place to work, did not work out in my case, but the process did not leave a bad taste in my mouth. It never got to the point of negotiating salary, but they do not do hiring bonuses, at least not in the finance area.

Interviewed Jun 2010 in Framingham, MA (took 4 weeks)
2 phone screens and then 5 hours on site interviewing with 7 different people from multiple departments. Overall a good experience, I would interview there again. I made it into the final round but they decided to go for an internal. candidate. Apparently they promote from within for 70% of their job openings. No offer but it was enjoyable.

Interviewed Apr 2010 in Boston, MA (took a day)
The interviewer had selected a few students to interview based on portfolios they were sent. It was a typical design interview - talk through your portfolio and get some feedback. Then there was some time for questions about the position. The interviewer was nice and was truly interested in my work.

Interviewed Sep 2008 in Boston, MA (took a day)
After applying, there was a phone interview just to kind of screen out the bulk of candidates. After that, the division manager did a phone interview with team personality kind of questions. Finally, there was a series of 5 phone calls during which my future team asked me questions about my knowledge of training, technology, etc. Each one had their own category.
