    Interview

I received an invitation 2 and a half months after my application and was invited to attend two days later. The test was divided in two multiple choice parts: one based on maths skills, the other on logical skills. Time was limited, you had to think quickly and pick the right answer. The logical test was pretty difficult and was similar to GMAT. Having practiced or taken the GMAT exam in the past is very helpful.

    Average Interview

    Application

I applied through a staffing agency. The process took 2 daysinterviewed at Boston Consulting Group (London, England (UK)) in March 2015.

    Interview

I was invited to a first stage interview after being short-listed by an agency. The invite was very short notice as they wanted to fill the role as soon as possible. The two people I met were very friendly, professional and polite, they asked me mainly competency based questions. I felt I have a good connection with company structure and their values. Sadly there was no invite to a second round. Overall, very nice experience!

    Application

I applied through a staffing agency. The process took 2+ monthsinterviewed at Boston Consulting Group (New Delhi (India)) in May 2014.

    Interview

The interview process was very rigorous. They conduct multiple rounds of interviews. HR round followed by technical rounds with multiple interviewers, skill based test, etc. Each round they test your people skills, team skills, leadership skills, subject knowledge, problem solving capability by giving you case studies. You need to keep a lot of patience as you will have atleast 6 to 8 rounds of interviews here at BCG.

    Advanced Analytics Manager Interview

    Average Interview

    Application

I applied through a staffing agency. The process took 2 weeksinterviewed at Boston Consulting Group (London, England (UK)) in May 2015.

    Interview

Two 45 minute face to face interviews followed by a video interview. Instead of arranging three one hour interviews the BCG decided to arrange three 45 minute interviews. The result was that the interviews over ran, so that by the time the third interview started I was running half an hour late. The BCG did not give me a temporary pass when I arrived, so when I wanted to go to the toilet I had to leave the offices and walk down the corridor to the toilets. I then had to wait for reception to let me back into their offices so that I could continue my interviews!! The webcam for the video interview was not setup correctly so I had to find someone to fix it. The person asking questions about the case study that I had been given had not read the report that I had written about the case study, and furthermore did not know the details of what the case study was about. The whole process was a shambles.
