Sales Officer Interview
I applied through college or university. The process took 1 day – interviewed at Bricks & Mortar Global Realty (Gurgaon, Haryana (India)) in February 2011.
The hiring process started with a detailed presentation by the business head (approx. lasting 60 mins) followed by the question and answer session where the candidates interested in asking some relevant questions were invited one by one to do the same and were being answered by the business head. This lasted to around 15 mins. After the presentation was over the interested candidates were invited for the job registration process and the rest were asked to leave. All the interested candidates were asked to submit their Resume (Hard Copy) and then the relevant resumes were shortlisted by the employer and again the rest were asked to leave. The shortlisted candidates were then invited to appear for a short objective type written test consisting of Quantitative aptitude, English comprehension, Reasoning, General Knowledge, Computer skills test and marketing aptitude test. The combined test consisted of a total of 100 questions in 60 mins duration. After the written test the results were announced after approx. 30 mins. The successful candidates were then asked to appear for a group discussion and the rest were asked to leave. The successful interested students were divided into a group of 8 candidates in each group. The groups were then assigned different topics to be discussed for about 30 mins each. Later, after a duration of 3 hrs the names of successful candidates from each of the groups were declared and were asked to appear for the personal round of interview with the business head. The interview of each candidate lasted for approx. 30 mins each. And, after all the interviews were conducted which lasted for around 300 mins, the final list of the candidates shortlisted for employment in the organization was compiled. Hence, after a hectic entire day process the final results were announced and the successful candidates were given offer letters too. Luckily, i was one of them. :)
