I was just asked a lot about my previous experience especially with database work. They gave me a call a few hours after I had left and wanted me to come in that day to start getting trained. I had the skills they were looking for so overall it was a pretty quick process.

It was a panel interview with 4 people on the panel. 3 of the members off the panel were asking questions the 4th member was from human resources observing and making sure the questions were allowable. The members asking questions were what would have been my manager, a manager I would have been working with quite a bit and another manager that was there for feed back. I was asked questions such as why I wanted the job, why I was most qualified, I was asked what I would do when a problem arose. I was also asked about a previous job and a specific problem and what I did to intervene and solve the problem. I was asked if I had any questions. I was also asked to tell a little about myself. The interview itself lasted about 1 hour.

The interview process entails teaching a class in your specialty, having a group interview with all of the faculty in the department, having an interview with the college dean, academic dean, and a church representative from church headquarters. They will pay your travel expenses to and from the interview if over a certain distance. Even if the department offers you the position it still needs to be approved by church headquarters. All of interviewers are very frank with you and want to make sure you understand the conditions of employment.

I found out about the position on the university student employment website and applied by simply emailing my resume to the supervisor of the data entry department. I was called within a few days of applying and set up an interview time for the next day.
The interview was pretty easy. I sat down with the department supervisor and a student who had been working in he department for 3 years. The questions were simple, direct, and respectful. The interview only lasted about 10-15 minutes and I walked out with a good feeling. They called me back about 3 days later and told me I had the job.

Told my friend I needed a job and he said he'd look into it. He gave me his supervisor's e-mail, I submitted a resume and got called up for an interview a couple of weeks later.
The interview was laid back, I just wore a collared shirt and slacks. The two supervisors hadn't even looked over my resume ahead of time. After a few basic behavioral questions, they asked if I was color blind. They didn't explicitly tell me I had the job, but the way they joked around it was fairly clear. I got the phone call a few days later.

There was nothing complex. it was a part time job so there was no need to be very prepared. I was able to talk to the supervisor about different skills that i posses and it was awesome. I was treated also very well and felt like it was a nice place to work
