Interviewed Mar 2012 in Irvine, CA (took a day)
Initial phone screening through recruiter which lead to a FOUR hour interview and they didn't feed me even! First met with benefits person who has some interaction with this position, then a global HR person who little to nothing to add to the interview, after that met with recruiter, followed by panel of direct co-workers who only allowed me 5 minutes to ask questions back. After I was beat down they finally bring in the hiring manager. Seriously I was starting to expect water boarding to happen next. I had read prior reviews of the lengthy reviews and they were not joking.
Asked the usual BS questions, why do you want to work here, tell me about a challenge, blah blah.

Interviewed Feb 2012 in Irvine, CA (took a day)
Got a call from Broadcom for Analog and RF Modeling position. Had a short 30 minute phone screen. The interviewer who called was cheerful and kind of eased me into the interview. The interviewer asked some basic questions on my coursework and projects.
Simple verilog questions like "Difference between reg and wire",sensitivity lists, inferred latches were asked.Verification related questions like "Checks for a Amplifier" were asked too.
The interview didnt last long and got wrapped up in 30 mins. Overall an easy phone screen.

Interviewed Apr 2011 in Irvine, CA (took a day)
First I have been called on my phone and the hiring manager talked to me for about 30 minutes.
Then, I was called for in-site. Interviewed by 8-9 persons both in San Diego and Irvine for whole day.
The questions were simple DSP questions. Some were very specific like exactly what they were working on not general DSP questions. They were looking for more hands-on and practical people. I think Master's graduates were more proper for their group. I think they would have to read my resume more carefully.

Interviewed Sep 2011 in Irvine, CA (took 2 days)
Interviewed with 10 product engineers/managers, all in one day. It was 45 minutes per session, with a 90 minutes lunch interview with the hiring manager and a senior product engineer. For the first 9 interviewers, I felt that it went relatively well with questions regarding product engineering responsibilities such has managing products from the design phase, to production release, to finally end-of-life. We talked about cost saving projects, test correlations, device characterization, and reliability qualifications for products (HTOL, ESD, Latch Up), and package (HAST, HTS, TC), etc, etc...

Interviewed Dec 2010 in Irvine, CA (took a day)
They contacted me via email, found my resume. I called them on my way home from a contract job I had in Holland for six months. Set up everything and flew out there for overnight. Was from 8am to 5:30pm all day, we did do lunch. I met with mostly managers of different groups. One girl knew a lot of the people I did at Teradyne. Did well I thought and the HR guy mentioned salary. So the 4 guys I was with at lunch, the leader of the team was very obnoxious and very full of himself. He made fun of a couple former interviewees in front of me and had some off-handed joke about how I better not be like that. He then went on to say his company was acquired by Broadcom and how great they were to have them. It was embarrassing really and I had no interest after that. The HR guy never even called me with a denial, letter, nothing. I thought that was pretty unprofessional and surprising people like these have a job at all.
