Everybody was very processional questions were to the point, no trick questions (almost). I was very pleased with the process. There was one tick question, but this was no big deal.

One hour of phone interview, then a group interview (two people from a small group) two days later.
The coding quetion is about vilotal, writing code of pushing a node to a link list.
How to optimized the performance. However the technical area in this group does not directly match my past experience. They do not understand what I was doing.

Phone interview:
I had a phone interview for 1 hour with hiring manager about my previous experience, skills, knowlege horizons, my interests and what I wanted to do in future. Wasn't as tough as personal interview.
Personal interview:
Had a one day onsite interview with 6 people including hiring manager for lunch.
Questions on:
Board layout and design
OFDM techniques and wireless pack
Test techniques and scripting related questions, I was proficient in C and they were looking for TCL, Python, perl
algorithms was good enough for interview
Test setup related questions.
Combo chips related questions
Interview Questions
Phase noise measurements.
IQ imbalance checks
out of band measurements
Receiver measurements and validation.
Negotiation Details
I could negotiate the base pay and increase it to 5% and also add 5% sign on bonus.
Negotiating could get a bit intense with HR not signing off so easily, you have to fight for it. Fortunately, my manager was quite generous here, could not be same with all hiring managers.

First, I was interviewed by the Director of ENgineering. He is really nice. He wants to know that I know what his group does and how different this line of work is different from other groups. Next, I was interviewed by another engineer. He is new to the company. He asked me a lot of technical questions, basic stuff like logic design, finite state machine and FIFO. I didnt answer all correctly but he was very nice. Next I was interviewed by another engineer. She asked Mostly behaviorual questions and a few technical one. I didn't know some of the things but she said it's fine and that she is just checking if I have worked on something like that before. After that a lunch interview with the third engineer he talked more about Broadcom, how he got here and things like that.

2 phone interviews for a hour each over 2 days.
Followed by an onsite visit with 6 1-hr interviews during the day.
Atmosphere was relaxed, interviewers were varied, from 2 different levels of management and peer engineers.
