Interviewed Aug 2011 (took 3 days)
I got an email requesting a phone interview. Then after I had the phone interview, I got an email inviting me to come in for a personal interview with the Dean. Then I was requested to come and meet with the campus president. At the end of the third interview, I was offered the position and I started the next week.

Interviewed Nov 2010 in Akron, OH (took 3 days)
I submitted my resume online for an adjunct position at Brown Mackie College. I heard nothing for two months. However, when I was contacted, the process then went quite quickly and smoothly. I had a phone interview with the department chair, who covered the basic duties of the position and explained the interviewing process. I emailed her an updated copy of my resume, along with a list of references. She then contacted my references (I know, because I got feedback from one of them). Two days after my phone contact, I presented a 15-minute demonstration lesson for a panel. After the presentation, they gave me feedback and asked questions about my knowledge relating to adult learners and how I would likely handle certain scenarios in the classroom. I was told that they would contact me within 2 days to let me know whether or not I got the job. They kept their word, and I was offered the job two days later.

Interviewed Sep 2010 (took a day)
This was a one-on-one interview, consisted of very basic questions about educational background and interest in education and teaching. Overall a very positive interview experience. All people in the office dressed in scrubs or business casual. Seems to be a friendly upbeat work environment.
