I applied through college or university and the process took 1 week - interviewed at Butler America in November 2012.
Interview Details – Initial communications were via email and then the interview was set up over the telephone. The time of my interview was flexible and happened at my earliest convenience. Very Difficult Interview
I applied through a recruiter and the process took 4+ weeks - interviewed at Butler America in June 2008.
Interview Details – Received an email from Butler's recruiter for the position. After some dickering, phone interviewed with the hiring manager and went very well. Some weeks later, recruiter requested another phone interview with the OEM customer with recruiter and hiring manager in on the call. Aced the interview (but it was a tough one) and offered the position. After noting the extremely low benefits and factoring a move, made a modest counteroffer, and after several weeks of no replies, had the offer rescinded (they "found" someone internal....how convenient). Must admit the hiring manager was a class act, but the recruiter was arrogant and uncompromising. Now it seems Butler went bankrupt. Now I am a even bigger believer that things happen for a resaon....
