Interviewed Mar 2012 in Tampa, FL (took 6+ weeks)
The interview process was well defined. After you apply and if you're selected, you get an initial screening from the recruiter. You're then scheduled to take an online skills test. It took about 2 hours to complete.
After passing the test, if you score well, the recruiter schedules a phone interview with the hiring manager.
After successfully passing the phone interview, you're invited to an onsite interview. Initially it was supposed to be with a panel consisting of the manager and the project technical lead. I ended up with 2 separate onsite interviews.

Interviewed Feb 2011 in Kennesaw, GA (took 2 months)
Went through a series of test and a 3hour way to long interview. It felt like they started to make up questions to see if they could frustrate me. Was told I would hear something within 2 weeks. I waited and waited only to receive an email from hr TWO MONTHS later stating "On this occasion we have decided not to take your application for this particular position further" DUH!!!!!!!!!

Interviewed Mar 2009 in Riverwoods, IL (took a day)
I initially applied on their website. I received an email confirmation and a telephone call from the HR contact person, who informed me of the salary and asked me when I was available to interview. When I came in, I interviewed with the managers, who asked me questions about my resume and why I was interested in the company. I then took a writing test.

Interviewed Jul 2008 in Riverwoods, IL (took 9 months)
I applied for the position online at the company's website and heard nothing. About 6 months later, I was contacted by their in-house recruiter through Career Builder. So, I would definitely post on career builder in addition to applying at the company website. First there was a phone screening and they asked me if I would be ok with the lower salary (I took a pay cut to change fields because of the recession). The in person interview was brief and relaxed with just one person. I was asked how I would handle a disagreement or difficult situation with a co-worker. I answered that I would just be nice and not make a big deal out of it and try to smooth things over. that response seemed to be good. Then there was a test where I was given a tax court case to read and write a memo about it, in about 3 hours. I needed all of that time and very carefully proofed it. They like a very simple and direct writing style. Avoid legalize. After a few weeks I heard nothing. Finally, I had another offer and I called the in-house recruiter and told her I had another offer. I then got an offer from CCH within 1 week. The process was very slow.

Negotiation Details
There was no room to negotiate. I asked but nothing happened. Seems that the salaries are very set, per budgets.

Interviewed Jan 2008 (took a day)
The interviewer was completely unprepared and unprofessional. Had I not been desperate for a job I would have turned them down. The workplace is very casual, which is nice.

Interviewed Feb 2008 (took 3 days)
It was a one on one interview. It was on a Saturday and very informal. The interviewer was in a Hawaiian shirt and shorts. It seemed like they were primarily seeking a personality fit as during the interview my technical skills didn't seem paramount. The hiring process was pretty simple. I met with a HR representative and had to watch all those great videos about not killing yourself in your workplace and not slapping another employee on the ass. I had to fill out some paperwork and go take a drug test. After that I was put into a software testing and product training class.

Negotiation Details
No negotiation. They simply have access to too large a workforce to negotiate at entry levels.

Received and Declined Offer

Interviewed Jul 2010 (took a day)
I received a phone call from HR and arranged time to meet with the Head of the Production and the HR Manager.
On the day of the interview, I was met by the Hr manager and led to a room where the the interview was held. Firstly we started off with introduction to the company and the role description. Then they went through their questions, basically focused on ability (so make sure you have examples and scenarios), after we went through my CV thoroughly and I was continually asked to prove my ability to the role. This took about an hour and a half.
Then after 2 days I got a phone call to provide references and background check. Then about 3 days later I got an offer which I went away and delibarated over for about 2 days before declining... So not too difficult interview but make sure you know your CV and have scenarios ready!

Interviewed May 2010 in Miami, FL (took 4+ weeks)
They required a lot of information before I ever spoke with anyone. There were several steps including multiple online applications and information, release for background check, critical thinking test, personality test, phone panel behaviorial/ competency interview and in person. Each step narrowed the list of candidates The in person interview was relatively relaxed. The panel was very structured and they did not have any information on the candidate - no resume. It was up to you to answer and sell yourself and your skills.
