Accepted Offer – Interviewed in Houston, TX Sep 2010 – Reviewed May 23, 2011
Interview Details –
First round consisted of a phone interview. Involved basic math and probability puzzles. The phone round is more of a pre-screening just to estimate the basic aptitude of selected candidates.
Onsite interview was more in-depth on the same topics. The interviewer also asked me to explain the masters thesis project which was followed by questions on the project.
Took a month for them to get back to me on the onsite interview result.
Interview Questions
- The interviewer showed me a geometric shape and asked me to divide it into 4 parts of same area. Answer Question
- There was a probability question on drawing from a basket with balls of different colours. Answer Question
Other Details - I applied through campus recruiting and the process took a day.
