Initial Interview was on Campus
- Asked basic interview questions. Not very technical at all. Mostly behavioral.
Second Interview was on site
-3 Rounds of interviews. One technical, One behavioral, and One with director
- Looking for team oriented, self empowered, very highly motivated
-Be prepared to back up ALL your technical skills. You may even have to write some code on a board. Depending on if you are going in as a BA or Developer

Interview Details – The process was straight forward. The initial interview was by phone. The second interview was in Fairfax and it tok approximately 3 hours. During that time I met with 3 key managers and spoke with them regarding the company and what my task would be within the company.

Interview Details –
After meeting the recruiter at the career fair, I was called up for an initial phone screening. I was told by the person who screened me that she thought I would be a good fit for the company, so she would try to set up another interview before being invited on site. The second interview didn't happen, but I was invited on site for the two day interview process that you will read about for campus recruiting.
I drove 8 hours to the on site location. On night one there was a free dinner provided to all of us where we meet the other 19 people in our interview group and a few of the CGI employees. Dinner was fun, and I ended up liking the entire group of people.
The next day was the on site interview day. Arrive early in the morning and be handed a schedule. Basically, you go through an HR presentation, walk around the site, have a panel question/discussion, and you also have interviews with three CGI people. Not all of them are actual recruiters. A free lunch is provided during and after, you fill out an evaluation. You are then sent on your merry way and wait to hear back from them.
One thing, though. It doesn't matter what position you applied for, they are interviewing you for every position available to campus students. It's only after when they decide if you are a good fit and where you might be a good fit.

Interview Details – I first put in an application online. The recruiter contacted me and told me more about the company and informed me they were coming to my campus. I interviewed on campus and was later invited to a site interview. The interview was 3 - 30 minute interviews.
Interview Question –
The technical questions basically were based on what I listed on my resume and the course I have taken. Also gave an example of a current project I was working on.

Interview Details – Due to the fact I was employed by a firm that was acquired by CGI I don't have experience going through this process. As with most interview process it usually is a two part one with the inital recruiter

Interview Details –
Applied to the position online and a few days later received an email from the recruiter. Had my initial interview with the recruiter which was easy and nothing out of the ordinary. Explained my resume and how I thought I could use my experience in the role I was applying for. The recruiter also asked if I was interviewing with anyone else to which I said yes. She asked that I just let her know if another offer was given to me, which makes sense.
At the end of the initial call, the recruiter said she was going to move forward with me. She asked that I email her my schedule and that she would find time for two more phone interviews (with two other people). These calls were set up quickly and were only 30 minutes each. These interviews were more intense as the two people who interviewed me wanted to know exactly what my qualifications were and specific information regarding previous experience. Since I was a good fit for the position, this was not bad, but they certainly drilled down my resume.
After finishing the second and third phone interview, I received an email pretty quickly from the recruiter saying she got the ok to schedule me for a final, in-person interview. At this point, I had received another offer. I mentioned that to the recruiter and she sped up the process. The final interview was on location and was with two people. I joined them in their office and they spent the next hour asking me questions. One individual was more technical and the other was more business. Very nice people who did not ask anything out of the ordinary. They were also aware that I had been made another offer and assured me they would expedite the process so I could make a decision if they decided to make an offer.
About 24 hours later the recruiter called me and told me they would match the other offer and that I would be receiving the offer letter shortly. Within 48 hours from the final interview I had the offer letter along with all the benefits information. After analysis, I let the recruiter know I would be taking the other offer. The recruiter responded and wished me luck in my new position. Then, about two days later, I get a call from the recruiter who leaves a voice mail asking me to call back. I call back the next day but she did not answer and I never heard back. My guess is they were willing to up the offer but I missed the call.
Reason for Declining – Better offer elsewhere.
No Offer – Interviewed in Lebanon, VA Mar 2013 – Reviewed Mar 7, 2013
Interview Details –
Consisted of 3 30-minute interviews, as well as a presentation discussing CGI as a company. The interviews asked me about Object-Oriented programming, coding experience, and theoretical scenarios and how you would deal with them. Some questions are verbal, while others ask you to write code on the fly on a white-board. They were pretty straight-forward. They may also ask you a brain teaser or two near the end. They will also ask you questions related to what you put on your resume, so make sure you're confident with what's on your resume.
There were about 8-12 people there interviewing for the same position, so it seemed very competitive.
Interview Question – A worker is to perform work for you for seven straight days. In return for his work, you will pay him 1/7th of a bar of gold per day. The worker requires a daily payment of 1/7th of the bar of gold. If you were only able to make 2 cuts to the gold bar, describe how this will allow you to pay him 1/7th each day? View Answers (2)

Interview Details – I was contacted through Linkedin by one of CGI's recruiters. We emailed back and forth and exchanged phone calls regarding questions that I had. Once all questions were answered, I decided to proceed with the process. I passed the phone screen with the manager for the project and went in for a face-to-face interview with the client. All went well and I received an offer. Everything was handled professionally and the total time it touch from initial contact to being hired was around a month.
Negotiation Details – I was given an initial offer, but replied it was too low. So my recruiter went back and gave them my minimum number. A day later my recruiter informed me that my minimum was authorized and signed off.
Accepted Offer – Interviewed in Nov 2012 – Reviewed Feb 24, 2013
Interview Details – Contacted by email. Worked with recruiter to further define skill set/experience from resume found on job board. First phone interview was horrible; I followed up with the recruiter since I knew it was bad. The recruiter gave me feedback from the phone interview that I found funny and was shocked by the feedback. The recruiter was glad I followed up (do not give up) - the next phone interview for a different position was positive and I was scheduled the following week with a face-to-face interview. I was offered the job the next day at a higher pay than I had indicated and started 2 weeks later.
Interview Question – Phone interviews are tough - the first interview I was asked about the difference in agile and waterfall methodology. The interviewer was impatient and was difficult to connect with. View Answer
Negotiation Details – No need to negotiate. I received more money than asked for and the vacation time I indicated I wanted.
