Interviewed Oct 2010 in Markham, ON (Canada) (took 1 week)
Recruiter cancelled the interview last minute, then forgot to reschedule. Had to call back to get a new time. The interview was quite short as they had few candidates at advanced stage, but we agreed to keep in touch. Was told that while it is great that I have my CHRP designation, this will be bringing no value to CGI, as to be a great recruiter at CGI you don't need a designation. I also have 7 years recruitment experience. After such a comment I have no desire to work for CGI.

Interviewed Oct 2009 (took 2 days)
Culture was lax and a bit bland. The interviews were all one on one and only consisted of generic behavioral questions. There were no case studies.

Interviewed Sep 2010 (took 1 week)
I was contacted by a recruiter to apply for the entry-level position at CGI data center in Phoenix , then invited to an interview. The interview consisted of a panel, 1:1 and a phone interview. This was for an entry-level position which I met the job description requirements for. However, many experienced even over-qualified candidates applied. Questions asked included vague, redonk situational questions akin to: "What if your head was made out of spinach?" I was told by one interviewer that many experienced candidates had applied for the so-called "entry-level" position. It was inferred that I would not get it. I have no idea why I was invited to interview. Waste of time and resources. On a good note, if you are experienced and feel you may be over-qualified but need a job... apply for entry level work. Give it a go!

Interviewed Apr 2010 in Washington, DC (took a day)
Typical half hour college interview with a bunch of personality questions. I wasn't graduating for another year so I was told that there will be no offer coming from that interview. However I recently got a call asking me to come for a follow up this semester. The interview was pretty easy with basic personality questions asking to describe obstacles, difficult coworkers, leadership experience, and free time activities. I was also allowed to ask questions about the company and how i would fit into it since I don't have much (basically none) programming experience. The atmosphere was very relaxed and the interview was in the form of a conversational rather than interrogation. At the end I was asked if I had any closing remarks about anything on my resume or transcript - a gesture I appreciated because I did want to clarify a few points.

Interview process was fast.
March 7th interviewed. March 15th Joined office.
Interview was taken by a Director and consisted of situational questions.
Checked PM level experience, checked consulting experience, customer focus and strong delivery capability.
Since the role I was hired for was very demanding, the interview complemented the job requirments.

Interviewed Jun 2010 in Toronto, ON (Canada) (took 2 days)
The reporting VP clearly does not know what he wants. I have worked with their lead client and they literally love me. I was even told that they checked references the the client told them to hire me. To this date no decision but during the interview process I was told that they needed 2 or 3 more directors given the amount of work they have. So, after 2+ months, this has to be BS. If they were so busy and needing help, they would have made their mind a while ago and they have nor hired anybody
